Pretty self-explanatory. Playing Morroblivion, went into Ark, found Boss dude, no Box. Can't find a way to additem it, either. Any way around this?

Confirmed, the box is disabled by default and is enabled by the result script of stage 5 of the quest "fbmwMQ02"
That's just the way it is, I guess you'll be going back to Arkngthand again later. Good thing it's the Oblvion engine and you can fast travel...

Yes, I'm on that part of the quest. I have been told by Caius to go to Ark and find it. It is just simply not there. Is there a way to additem it?

I had this problem too, but after checking vs my orignal morrowind I worked out whats up.
The quest itself is fine, but the text from Caius tells you to go to the Ark, when it should tell you to talk to the guy in the fighters guild (he tells you this in dialog but not the quest tracker), if you pop over to there and talk to the right guy the quest will progress normally and the box will show up.
hope that helps.

You have to talk to Hasphat Antabolis at the Balmora Fighter's Guild first.

Did you have that part of the main quest, if you do not then it will not show up.
