For Imperials, American accent is fine, or British accent is fine. Right now your accent doesn't ring as either one, though. If you're not English-as-first-language, you might be better suited to Breton, with a more natural accent?

You're probably right, 20 years in europe will do that I guess. I did the american "r" in "soldier" but not in "orders". Maybe I thought too much about sounding "clear".
I'll try again, then get myself over to the Breton thread.
I am an actor. I've done quite a bit of voice work. I did Dishonored and Gun for instance. I can do several accents. I would love to help you out just so I could play the game. I am also a working actor my name is Brad Dourif. You can look me up. I just need some info on how to go about it. Are there scripts? If I am talking to the wrong person please let me know.
So this is me reading the generic lines of an Imperial Guard from Oblivion.
Using a H1-Zoom recorder, handheld, which is why there might be some noise when I move my fingers a bit.
Naturally, if I do get a part, I won't do it handheld, heh.
My attempt at the Imperial Miles Gloriosus. First time trying voice acting. C&C? Do I have a shot at making it? Dont hold back "a successful man build a house from the bricks thrown at him"
Starts at 3 seconds in. Sorry I totally forgot to cut it in. I will cut it in on v2 when I receive feedback.
Some lines from imperial characters (Pretty sure the sound quality is bad, but I have access to a better microphone at a later date, if I get that far).
I have little experience with 'voice-acting' I am 14 (Although you may not think so)and have free time to dedicate. Here is my final take or 'cut' :) of my Imperial Edition you will find it HERE. I look forward to your feedback and opinions! Talos guide you travelers!~ I am life-long fan of the franchise and this would mean the world to me!
Here are some Imperial takes. Not sure I can muster up the chest strength to be a booming commander type of super-hero voice, but I feel I might work better in low-key roles or as grittier types (warriors, rogues, thieves, etc).
(I also am aware I stumble slightly over a name at one point. It's 6 AM and I'm at the end of my vo schedule so I ever so slightly had to rush this one. Sorry about that.)
This is my first crack at voicing a character, though I have a good deal of podcasting and college radio experience. I chose to record a few lines from the Oblivion character Savlian Matius (acting captain of the Kvatch Guard) and I plan to submit a couple more in the near future.
My quick demo of my voice. I can a bit deeper, and i can stress or unstress the hero-ness :P In this one i decide to use a more normal voice for the priest but running down some warrior lines, i seemed to have used a more deep, hero-like voice. Anyways! heres my demo
Hey i just went over the MP3, it jumps at the beginning, no idea why but from there its good :P
Here are my lines for the Imperial Voice-types in your new mod. I chose some of the first lines you hear in the game. I hope you like it. https://soundcloud.com/ryan-bimson
I have a home studio, so if you'd like me to have official parts I promise my quality will be great! But I was too excited to wait. I'd especially love this part, and would happily do anything else you needed. Morrowind is my favorite game ever.
I wasn't quite sure of how he should sound, but here is my audition for Lucan Ostorius!! Let me know what you think and I will edit it as fast as possible!
Right i decided with the character of Lucan Ostorius as a thief shouldn't have a posh accent he should have a voice similar to Delvin Mallory from Skyrim.
2 samples of an Imperial female voice for your consideration. I'd be happy to work on anything that you think needs improvement, or head over to a different forum if you think I'd be better suited for something else :)
Here's a go at an imperial voice. I can re-record if you see any potential or use for my voice. I just got it down quick whilst the house was empty and there was no background noise!
Imperial male. Can do better quality if necessary. Feedback appreciated.
Hello again!
Tried some generic soldier/guard lines in the first. The second one is some.. snobbish noble I think. At least that's what they sound like to me.
It's my normal voice and way of speaking. Might be "too american", can adjust if necessary to some degree.
Not sure what happened with the second recording, sounds to me like too much reverb.

Here is three more for fun.

Here's my audition tape for a common Cyrodiil (I prefer that term over "Imperial", lol).

Hi guys, looking to try my hand at voice acting. Imperial seems the best fit for now. How do I go about auditioning?

Imperial - using General Tullius style lines from Skyrim. Feedback appreciated.
I'm just trying for any Imperial. Though hearing some of the people before me, I don't expect much for myself.
Here's Voice work for an Imperial. It's my weakest in my opinion, but I should be able to improve if needed.

Nice! It sounds almost like an Orc from Skyrim and oblivion. You might want to look at them. Orcs are fun to do!

Turedus Talanian, happy to re-record/take further direction. Voice is very flat in this one.

I have a home studio, so if you'd like me to have official parts I promise my quality will be great! But I was too excited to wait. I'd especially love this part, and would happily do anything else you needed. Morrowind is my favorite game ever.
