Gnisis Landscape and Cluttering

The new Redoran buildings will look awesome there!

Is there any room for a small patch of farmland? local source of food.
The colour scheme for West Gash will be changing, so bare in mind the grass will be more like riften area.

You could also add some waterfalls and streams coming from the mountain, as in Modexo's concept:

Gnisis actually just falls along the border of the Northern West gash and while this looks good, it will have to be revised reasonably soon as I am progressing to this area.

Hey so the landscaping looks good so far, but that's actually the wrong sediment texture for the Northern West Gash - there are two, a subtle one and a red one... Use the red one at the moment. Obviously it's a WiP but it will be great to see those mountainous rocks changed to either the style you're using or Eloth's hill rocks he's using in Balmora.

I'm not working on that side, so there is no connection at the moment. I'm working on the East side of Northern West Gash - Gnisis is on the West.

Looks great, but I'm very surprised at the color of the rocks for that region. LA Sentry West Gash has the very red colored assets, and this is perched in amongst it. Hopefully the contrast and also use of rock models is not going to look out of place?

Is it planned to add Amphitheatre to gnisis like on official morrowind concept art? this may not be a theater but it may be a good idea.

Ask Ravanna to provide you with giant's hand model hanging in Gnisis as in the book "the art of Morrowind" page 12

Yeah, we've been in contact via PM - we're sorting it out as we go :)

I think I remember seeing this a while back, wasn't Gnisis to become another closed city at some point with a big door under that natural arch?

Gnisis is a small city, I don't think that it needs walls, It is a bit bigger than Riverwood in Skyrim.

Even if it is closed we can hang the hand above the gates. I already sent it to Ravanna.

Skywind will be infamous for it's "underground spring waterfalls". They just look too cool not to add :P

This is looking absolutely gorgeous!

looks absolutely amazing andy. The only creative criticism that I have is maybe not use different colored lights like that. We have been getting light schemes like that throughout skywind and I don't know if it would be accurate for the area.

no more grass, please. its already green enough, gnisis is a bleak place, ashy, and red. somewhat rocky too
