I can't seem to be able to travel to Vvardenfell.

Submitted by GunnerofLife on

Last time I played Morroblivion, there was a Khajiit in the Imperial City Prison District who took me to Vvardenfell. According to the latest Morroblivion Project Release Thread, traveling between landmasses is now done by ships - one in the Anvil Docks and one near the Imperial City Prison Sewer District. Thing is, I can't seem to find any of those ships.

I don't see why this is. The installation went well and without a hitch. Why can't I go to Vvardenfell?

The Khajiit is from Chargen and Transport mod, which adds the ability to travel between worlds and to start Morrowind MQ with existing character.

However, v063 was released just today and mod wasn't updated yet for the new version. Right now you can only start new game in Morrowind or wait until CAT mod is updated (can take a couple of days).

Ah, that's a shame. I'm guessing COC commands are out of the question as well?

I wouldn't recommend it.

This seemed like the right place to ask this. So I just installed this last night everything seemed to work like it was supposed to but, I am as computer literate as a harbor seal so something could be horribly wrong and I wouldn't know. But how do I make a new character that starts in morrowind. I just tried making one and I was in the sewers like normal. Is there a way to just start in morrowind? Did I install something wrong so the option is not popping up? Also should I be launching from Wrye Bash, the oblivion launcer or the OBSE launcer?

Did I install something wrong so the option is not popping up? Also should I be launching from Wrye Bash, the oblivion launcher or the OBSE launcher? I think I've messed something up because I can't ever get Wrye Bash to open and get a message that says

The logfile 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Mopy\Wrye Bash.exe.log' could not be opened: [Errno 13] Permission denied: 'C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Bethesda Softworks\\Oblivion\\Mopy\\Wrye Bash.exe.log'

This is the first time I have tried to open Wrye Bash after I used it for the install. Did I install it wrong?

Reinstall the game outside of "Program Files" directory.

Launch the game using obse_loader.exe - it is strictly required for many features, including the alternative start.

By the way, where should I go to keep track of the CAT mod?
