Question/s on System Requirements

Submitted by Asus on

What are the actual system requirements going to be in order to play Skywind at reasonable frames per second? It's my understanding if one can run Skyrim, one should also be able to run Skywind, but I've also read [somewhere] Skywind will require stronger hardware than what is needed for Skyrim.

Will my PC be able to play Skywind with decent FPS?

Here are my specs:

* GPU - Nvidia Geforce GTX 650
* CPU - AMD FX-8320 Eight-Core
* RAM - 16.0 GB
* Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit)

RAM:

8gb

Video Card:

AMD Radeon HD 6450
i get 17-20fps in skyrim modded to hell currently i get slighty better and stable in skywind i know not every thing is in game yet but i cannot see it having to much of an impact on your fps

You might want to upgrade your graphics card to get the full experience. Something above GTX 750Ti or GTX 660. GTX650 is a weak card, to be honest. Other than that, everything is good to go.

I used to have a GTX650 and a Pentium G860 (dual core, 3GHz), it ran Skyrim just fine

@shadow skywind is more demanding than skyrim because whereas skyrim was more oriented towards consoles, skywind is not. It will have more things graphics and feature-wise. Also, when I said full experience, I meant highest options, with full aa and antistropic fulters.

The team is doing everything it can to make the experience worth-while for the users. However, even with optimization, 650 is not enough to fully realize it, in my opinion.

Also, the exact answer for this question is unanswerable because not all things are in place. Only thing I can give you is a rough estimate.
