Voice Description:
High elf males should sound like Benedict Cumberbatch. A deep, rich voice with British inflection. Not commanding in tone, but with an aire of superiority and condescension to others.
High elf females should sound like Cate Blanchett. Most of them need a mature and regal tone with a posh British accent.

Your voice is not bad but it sounds like it was recorded inside a sawmill.. A side effect of a bad microphone is that it is sometimes hard to judge how good your voice really is.. I cannot say yes but i won't say no.. If you can get ahold of a better mic (Samson Gomic under good recording conditions will do) then i can give you a real answer.
as far as the acting goes, the lines you are saying should be heavier than the way you are saying it. Try a little slower, deeper tone. This goes for both your clips.

This one is simple. Unfortunately, you sound a little too young for our needs... Despite your obvious effort, I think you should try for Breton instead.

Haha!.. cool beans! It is a little slow but it isn't bad! The sound quality is not up to scratch, however... and it might be a little to slow for most characters.. try again, reading the sample lines in the first post and read it slightly faster...

From what i can hear, this is more breton than high elf. Other than that, it sounds like you were recording inside a jet engine.. that needs to change. If that is the voice you want to do, transfer your behind to the breton thread and try again but this time, find a better microphone.. as with others, this is too bad for us to really judge your voice.

Good effort but i don't think you have what it takes :/ You might be looking for some constructive feedback but we don't have too much time with training voice actors.. you either have it, you're close or we can't use you... that is how it is I'm afraid.

Other than the obvious sound issues, it is an ok audition. Your voice isn't quite deep enough... and due to the sound the audition lacks a lot of the fullness we want this race to have. I suggest you try other races if you haven't already.. I am not sure high elf is for you.. but of course you are welcome to prove me wrong...

This doesn't happen often but the sound quality is so bad that i refuse to judge it... I can barely tell what you are saying and what i do hear is not good. We are unlikely to need your services.. thanks for trying though.

I am not much of a fan of this to be honest.. like many others, you lack the depth and the fullness we want for our altmer voices... You might be better off auditioning for other races if you haven't already.

Like with some others, this is probably more suited as a breton audition. The sound quality suffers as well.. try to find a remedy for that cause you do have a cool voice :)

There are many things wrong here but the main thing is that you sound too young.. and seeing as we don't need that many voice actors for altmer, we can be a little picky.. try other races though!

The accent is down but you don't sound nearly mature enough for altmer.. you are better off trying for a young breton or something. The sound is also very sharp but as long as you can make a minor investment we can sort out sound quality.

This is a good audition and bad audition at the same time. On its own, it is good.. but within context (a high elf audition) it doesn't match our description at all.. try for breton if you haven't already ;)

You sound like you are better suited for orc or something.. it isn't quite right for high elf (not that it sounds like an orc.. but i can hear that you might be able to do orc, if you haven't already tried). No to altmer.

I can't accept this audition as it sounds like you dip into australian here and there.. not sure if you are australian but that is what it sounds like. As we have a few good altmer already, it is better for us to go for people who can keep an accent consistently rather than people who can't. Other than that, it wasn't bad.... so try for other races.. maybe ones that hide your accent more :P

Randall seems to deteriorate during his audition .. It definitely isn't high elf but might be useful for some more unique characters.. randall, sir.. post in the unique audition thread. As for Travis, it is close but no cigar.. and we are all out of cigars. It isn't quite high elf... It is close though.. this is a difficult one for me.. try to sound a little more condescending and try to pronounce all the words correctly (avdanced?)
