For some reason when I first go to morrowind, Jiub will not talk to me and initialize the main quest. I dont know what I did wrong. Other people won't actually talk either, though the dialogue menu thing appears. Any suggestions on how to fix this will be useful. Another possibly related problem is that on the ships between the places, many of the walls are a light purple color with no texture. I'm not sure if this is related to the other thing, but i would like it to be fixed.

Hello Eduji, [External image]
Do you have some mods for Morroblivion installed, which were created with an earlier version of the Morrowind_ob.esm?
Who yet, you inquire whether there is already a V063 compatible version for these mods.
Otherwise Deactivate all the mods that are not included in Morroblivion V063 Complete Resources.

I just started a new game since updating to v063a and can confirm that Jiub will not talk to the player. He does not move forward and clicking on him to initiate dialog does nothing. If I try to walk up the stairs towards the guard who releases you, the game crashes.
I have removed all mods except Morroblivion core ones and the issue persists. When I reinstall v062 everything works normally again in the same save that was having issues with v063a.

If you Started from Oblivion you will need to Download the New Transport Mod follow links on Download Page.

Please, post your load order.

Thank you for the replies.
The save I was using was one where my character started off in the Oblivion world. Another alternate start mod was overriding the Morroblivion start in Vvardenfell.
I did have the old version of the CharGen and Transport mod (maybe we can put a notice about the update requirement in the download thread?) so I updated it, but it still does not work.
I removed all mods again except for:
Oblivion.esm
Morrowind_ob.esm
DLCShiveringIsles.esp
Morrowind_ob.esp
Morrowind_ob - MorrowOblivion Eloth Landscape & Grass for v033.esp
Morrowind_ob - Chargen and Transport Mod.esp
Morrowind_ob - MorroblivionTreeReplacer.esp
Morrowind_ob - Morroblivion Maps.esp
Morrowind_ob - ClothingReplacer.esp
Morrowind_ob - MorroblivionWater.esp
Morrowind_ob - Almalexia.esp
Morrowind_ob - Conversation.esp
Morroblivion - Silt Striders.esp
Morroblivion - Voiced Daedric Lords.esp
Morroblivion - Oblivionized Enchants.esp
Morrowind_ob - Lost Magic OBME.esp
Morrowind_ob - UCWUS.esp
Morroblivion - Faction Relation_0.esp
Morroblivion - Quest Tweaks.esp
With the same save and the above load order I get the same symptoms. If I re-install v062 again, with the above load order and save, Jiub will talk to the player.
If I begin a new save with just the above load order, however, it all works fine.
So it seems that the problem is how I'm arriving in the prison ship. If a character is started in Oblivion, does it cause the break by using player.moveto [Jiub's formID]? That is how I was moving my character to the prison ship after being created in Oblivion. In the old v062 version this was working fine, but it seems not so with V063a and the updated Chargen and Transport mod.
Thank you both for your assistance!
Best regards,
Jessica
Transport to Morrowind
Transport to Morrowind absolutely has to be done through the Kahjiit in the imperial prison district when you're starting in Cyrodiil. There are many variables and other things that have to be set correctly for Morroblivion to work correctly. Only the latest CAT mod does this.
Morrowind_ob - MorrowOblivion
Morrowind_ob - MorrowOblivion Eloth Landscape & Grass for v033.esp
This is deprecated.
Morrowind_ob - Almalexia.esp
This does nothing for Morroblivion. I don't even know how you still have that file.
Morroblivion - Voiced Daedric Lords.esp
Merged in the master long time ago.
Morroblivion - Oblivionized Enchants.esp
Morrowind_ob - UCWUS.esp
Incompatible. The latest version of UCWUS should give you a warning message if you try to use both at the same time.
Morroblivion - Faction Relation_0.esp
Also merged a long time ago, in v058 I think.
Morroblivion - Quest Tweaks.esp
What's that?
If a character is started in Oblivion, does it cause the break by using player.moveto [Jiub's formID]?
Of course it does, why would you do that?
Move Morrowind_ob - Chargen and Transport Mod.esp (the latest version) to be the last in your load order, then travel to Vvardenfell by speaking to a khajiit in Imperial prison (that is, if you want to use your Oblivion character). You can also start a new game in Morrowind from the main menu.
Grass for V33 is going to

Wow... I had no idea about
Wow... I had no idea about those changes in relation to all those other plug ins, which at one time were required/recommended. Thank you for letting me know.
I do read the new posts in this thread: https://tesrenewal.com/forums/morroblivion/mods/753 whenever there's a new update (I did not see one for v063a, though, so I couldn't tell you what that update does), but apparently I've missed a lot of changes.
Is there a thread where we track Morroblivion plugin compatibility? For members who do not follow every thread, every day it might be helpful. If I can help create that list, please let me know.
Why do I use "player.moveto?" to move a character placed in Oblivion to the prison ship instead of using the Khajiit script to get there for the first time? Because when I examined the V10 Chargen and Transport plugin back in the day I saw that the Khajiit sailor script only determined if the Morroblivion intro movie should play, moved the player to a marker near Jiub and made changes to allow the Oblivion main quest to start (which I never needed since I have another alternate start mod that handles it.) Using Morroblivion V062, this always worked perfectly. I'd played through the entire main quest with no issues and when I needed to move between world spaces any time after, I used the Vvardenfell portal mod or the Khajiit sailors.
I suppose something changed in the master file with this new version that makes this no longer an option. Later today I'll remove the unnecessary plugins and try to use the Khajiit sailor to move to Vvardenfell for the first time just to double-check.
Thank you again for all of your help!
Best regards,
Jessica
