Contest "Test yourself as TES developer!" for ghostgate artifact!

Welcome to "Test yourself as TES developer!" idea contest!

Proceed to this link to participate. The contest is hosted in English/Russian languages.

The contest topic is "The Unique Artifact Hidden in Ghostgate Catacombs."

The Ghostfence in Morrowind is powered with souls of dunmer ancestors. Catacombs are replete with bones of ancestors. Even islands in the lake are bones piles! Check out the concepts of the Ghostgate and catacombs. and Ghostgate in video.

A few Failed Incarnates had been Ashlanders. When attempting to climb Red Mountain they stumbled into the Catacombs and lost one of these Ringlets. But when the Player finds it, it has unforeseen consequences. A curse perhaps? Or a blessing in disguise?

I always liked the idea of Alandro-Sul and what he meant to the Ashlanders, it seemed like he was barely touched on in the game. It would be a nice remedy for it.

First round winner 18 ideas

1. Pride of Indoril - Mantle: The mantle amplifies owner's leadership talents. Mantle that were created during the Second Era, were granted to the soldiers who have shown great courage and bravery in battles against the legions of the Empire.

2. A ring from the mail of Alandro-Sul - "Thousand Ringlets of Alandro Sul": Sul poses player's mind and gives him/her visions and commentaries. Player can collect the ringlets. catacombs are full of ancestor bones which could wear Sul's rings, Has a story.

3. True Face - Nerevar's mask: The mask of Nerevar, his bones placed into the catacombs.

4. The Ingenium - A Lore-Created Machine Used to Harness Souls

Infernal City book hinted that the machine was not entirely of their own design, and the technology was perhaps found or even manipulated from more sinister origins.

5. Spear of Penetration

Last owner - One of the famous Ghostgate guards. In the first place the spear gives possibility to levitate, hover, for a short period of time, and restores the power stock -that's how the weapon inspires it's master.

6. Dunmer Clan Soul Scimitar

In any famous dunmer tomb imbue the sword in the ashes and bones of the ancestors at the altar. You will be blessed by family member famous for something for example great marksmen could bless your Archery skill.

7. Dar'Dzhagosh's Ceremonial Claws - Thieves guild artifact: Khajit -like claws with sheathing mechanism, enhancements depend on the moons' phase.

8. Twilight Swords - Two swords each will glow on its own time and buff you: The two towers of the Ghostgate are called Dawn and Dusk. The swords will be located under the towers.

9. Tyfon's Ring - Ring which poisons your weapon automatically anytime. Has a story.

10. Golden Feather - Zurin Arktus's Artifact: On use levitation + chameleon 90% for a very short time. Has a story.

11. Dwarven Tuning-fork Staff: Instrument which was used by dwarven tonal architects (http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Tonal_Architect). It perpetually vibrates and has a very cute sound

12. Boneshield - A frame of bones with force field like ghostwall inside.

13. Ghostgate Guard's Seal - Places a seal(rune) on the ground, if enemy crosses it's border's ancestral ghost will be summoned from the Ghost Fence

14. Sheograth's Blessed Lute - Summons 6 dunmer dancer girls or 10 % chance of scamp horde summon. Has a story.

15. Ancestors Guide's Ring - Allows you to cross Ghost Fence

16. Saint Aralor's Mantle - During ash storm gives you chameleon and some other buffs.

17. Necklace of Ghosts -Each bone leads to the hidden path and acts as a key to the special places on the map that can be created. When all 9 bones are used to open ruined places of ghosts the necklace gains special power of sudden weakness.

18. Aegisguard - The false wraithguard created by Sotha Sil.
