Controller Support?

I would imagine, as it's using the Skyrim engine, that controller support is all but guaranteed.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

But i can play skyrim with my usb xbox360 controller. Its just an option in gameplay or control settings tab.  maybe you need to dl and install driver for your pc

you may have to connect your controller before you start the game for it to recognize it

i use a controller to play skywind and yes it  works fine but i allso use a mod called Better Xbox360 Controller - 8 hotkeys quicksave -load how ever it does still work but it has limited functions atm im sure we will have all the kinks ironed out b4 skywind is released if this is a problem on our side but as we are still in alpha stage this is not really a priority atm to fix isues like this allso this more than likely would be an issue for the mod developer them self to help correct and fix controller support  for skywind

The controller should work fine with Skywind. I believe it did in an earlier release so however it could be subject to change.

The controller will work fine as far as I know. The only thing that I can see that would be a problem in the end is some of the new stuff where adding which may change some of the control scheme.

Not on PC I don't think. It was on xbox.

morrowind didn't support xinput because that wasn't going to be a thing for years. Instead it supported the far superior Dinput, I can't remember if you have to define the device it's listening for or if it's listening to all of them. All you have to do is plug in a controller that works, 360 controllers aswell, and start rebinding controls to the controller. I'm pretty sure there's an option for using the joysticks.
