Are you guys going to create stand alone mods for skywind or perhaps just integrate it into base skywind? Mods that I think would be great to be in skywind are underwater combat with new animations, new smithing categories, and new enchantments. Some of these are hardcoded and I'm not sure if it's possible to change or manipulate anything.
Underwater combat and redone
Underwater combat and redone smithing is being worked on for the main game though. Not sure if water combat with new animations can or will be implemented, because it would be hard as hell, but new smithing categories is a must since we have completely different types of armor. Probably will be mostly done by replacing.
I'd like to make use of the
I'd like to make use of the Dragonborn keywords for bonemold and chitin categories without requiring its esm to be enabled, hopefully there can be some way around the limitations without replacements, but some may be necessary.
My question is will yea
My question is will yea remake the Midas Magic mod on Skyblivion?
BlastLord, any content not
BlastLord, any content not from oblivion's base game (AKA mods) will more then likely not see the full Skyblivion release. However when Skyblivion is released (long time from now) then it is possible for mods such as Midas Magic to be unofficially added via the Skyblivion modding page.
tldr: Oblivion mods will not be in the base Skyblivion release, but some popular ones may be converted.

It has been discussed,
It has been discussed, currently there is a mod page with a few small skywind based mods in the forums, however major game changing mods won't be worked on until a later stage of development. After eying a majority of the site, most devs (and or mod makers) are adding mechanic mods, off-lore easter eggs, house mods ect... later to increase the compatibility with final release as nothing is final yet and things continue to change.
tldr: Yes it was hinted at certain features will be skywind based mods if not added into the main game.
