Are hand-placed objects in yet?

Submitted by Kyosho on

I tried Morroblivion about a year, or year and a half ago. Can't remember what version it was. I liked it, until I realized that items that I expected to find in the world weren't there. Like the axe in the stump behind the lighthouse in Seyda Neen. Etc. Is that still the case?

Read on the Download Page to where Quest are and Playable, you Might have to go Back to V058 and Read from There on,  On Each Release to Where  the Game is Up To.

Is there an actual changelog somewhere? That'd be helpful.

The objects you talk about are actually in the game but unfortunately due to Oblivion's havok engine they may fall through the treestump onto the ground. You could tcl into it and check there. In case of the stump I think the collision mesh could be improved though, it's very rudimentary. The only things that have to be hand placed because they weren't automatically converted are generic, unenchanted Amulets and Belts and some rings.

However you will find most amulets and rings in the game already. The rest will be added in the next master and to my knowledge that's everything. Of course you won't find crossbows or throwing knifes because the engine simply doesn't allow them in a convincing way.

Ah, cool. Thanks. Glad to hear they exist, even if they're buggy. Also, I found this thread which has a changelog, but it appears to be somewhat out of date.

Luckily it's nothing we can't fix so feel free to report any bugs you find.
