Even though I installed the unofficial patch for Oblivion & Shivering Isles, I get this message "I have no greeting" in Morrowind. It appears that the patches don't fix the problem. Is there a console command I can type to fix this issue? "SetplayerInSEworld 0" only works with Oblivion or Shivering Isles.
Solved
I switched characters & when I returned to this character I didn't speak to anyone until after I killed some bandits in a cave. Then I returned to the Stronghold & I was able to talk to them again.

Can you give a bit more info? How did you arrive in Vvardenfell? What other mods do you have running? Did you upgrade or start a new game?
