Haha im such a fool - apparently these are for Tribunal, not morrowind.
Anyway
Sketched out some designs over the holiday break (and some trees - i had no computer so i went old school). I figured the stands were sort of gothic medieval in flavour, so i pushed that a little. If i were to keep going and designing some aesthetics for imperial architecture, i would definitely mix in some oriental influence - try to keep it hybrid and not one or the other.
I also tried a new method of modelling. I made the basic structure in maya using a mixture of splines and hand modelling, then i creased everything and sent that to zbrush as an ASCII file. Works super well and it meant i could get some very clean lines and shapes. Then its the same old zbrush stuff, decimate then bake in maya.
You can see a rough version of the texture applied to a low-res model in the last image.
Any thoughts for future direction guys? critiques?

UNF! that means i thrusted at these in a sexual manner.
And who says they cant be used for Vvardenfell? No harm in it.
The Rav seal of approval - a thrust in the general direction
These could be used in Gnisis temple for the mask of Vivec, if no plans are already made for that.
@Crestycomb - Not sure what the style is for the Gnisis temple shit is. If it suits then why the hell not, otherwise it would be better to make another thing from scratch.
Damn we need to do some stylesheets for consistency across cultural styles.
Anyway, heres the final piece and the texture maps:
Cool but in my humble opinion it fits only in imperial forts.(It looks very ghotic). I have some notes too like:
- I miss floral patterns like in original
- stone is too grey and clean, can you add some weak, pale colors here (green, brown)?
------------------
For Gnisis temple (dunmer) I see it in reddish sandstone with changed decorating (some deadric alphabet, but more calligraphic like in Muslim culture)
-------------
We have also Mournhold which should have colors like green and blue and some local decorations. (quite close to original)
With Mounhold i d associate this rare piece of art:

Sweet! i'll add in some browns to change up the color. And i totally forgot the floral pattern lol :)
alysander I love Persian art too. But this one is too eyecathing and not in Mounhold style. I will accept it only with far lower contrast.
