Manifest Destiny Quest Broken?

Submitted by scotty35503 on

So I'm doing the Raven Rock quest where you have to find the supply ship that didn't show. Did everything right and got the quest update for Falco to send me northwest to find th ship. when I arrived at the crash site, there were no draugr like there are supposed to be and Apronia Alfena won't speak to me, presumably until I kill the nonexistent Draugr. Now I'm not so certain what to do.

Has anyone else had this problem?

That's certainly strange. I went through this questline so many times and that never happened. (At least in previous versions). I made a few changes to the Draugr and Apronia and the dead ship captain as well as the quest. Now it points you to the Draugrs once you discover the ship. At least now you now where the Draugrs are, though technically they should be were they are supposed to.

Also, I'm doing the Beast Stone portion of the Skaal quest and the Good Beast and the Rieklings aren't showing up. I scoured the forest, before looking up the location in my Morrowind walkthrough. I visited the exact spot and they aren't appearing. Usually, for problems like this, I make a quick fix and plop down a second copy of the NPC and creatures in the Construction Set, but I thought I'dd let you guys know, in case this is a bug.

You are using a clean save or you upgraded for previous morroblivion version? There was a bug about the good beast position(It is/was a bit wrongly moved). I actually do not remember if I fixed it or not.(It was nearly a year ago when I debugged that part) but if I fixed that It will not show in the updated spot without a clean save.

I've been playing this save since around...v.056. I've updated each time a new release was made?

Might that have had something to do with it?

Probably, some bloodmoon fixes require a clean save even if they are not required to complete the quests

I just tried to do the Beast Stone portion of the Skaal quest and the Good Beast isn't showing up and the Riekling's AI seems broken. They run up to me but don't attack, and when they're dead you can't loot the bodies. Don't have any mods installed except what was required to run Morroblivion and just installed about a month ago.

The inability to loot bloodmoon creatures is fixed in a file uploaded in this thread:

From your report, the Good Beast thingy does need a check-up by the developers.

That's because they had a wrong combat style which made them unable to attack. This fixes it along with their spells and increases their attack reach so they're not all up in your face.
