The dunmer, Edras Oril, from the scholars and the mating Kagouti quest is stuck following me. I couldn't finish the quest because Thoronor got lost, so I tried to finish it with the console by setting the stage to 100. But apparently I should have stepped it up through the prior stages first because now the quest is marked done but he won't stop following me. It's the adoring fan all over again! Can't kill him because the essential flag, need the BaseID (not the formID the console gives you) to remove the essential tag. How can I get the BaseID?

Beats me, canvassed the entire area, no sign of him, quest marker didn't show up either. Yah, no console for me. Maybe I should check the adjacent dungeons, possible he ran away to one after getting killed.

Instead of Adding or Removing ( Thoronor ) going by Other Problems you have been Having, Try your Load Order for Other Files that could be Causing the Problem.

Instead of advancing the quest via console commands you should have tried to find out what caused your problem in the first place. What do you mean Thoronor "got lost"? His AI tells him to stay at the same place all the time and he's flagged as essential. In the future please refrain from using console commands to advance quests it will only lead to more problems.
