Corrupt savegames | Morroblivion

Hi there,

first of all thanks for morroblivion, i've been enjoying the latest version for almost 60h now!

But now I have a problem, I can't solve by myself.

My savegames always corrupt after a certain point. The last working savegame is right after I give Mehra Milo the divine intervention scroll.

No matter what i try, the savegames after that are corrupted.

I use a clean install of oblivion. I tried loading mod by mod, I deleted the ini, no dice.

So I loaded a working savegame several hours before that, tried again to do the quest and right after I give her the scroll and teleport out, the savegame is corrupted again.

I uploaded 2 savegames, the 182 is working, the 183 is right after teleported out of there and that one is not working.

Well, the same thing is happening in my game, but unfortunately I don't know what can be causing this.

Do you have a save before giving Mehra the scroll?

I did more testing and

I did more testing and uploaded 2 savegames.

Save 179 works until I give Mehra the scroll, after teleport the savegame is corrupted for me.

Save 176 works fine after the teleport.

In the meantime, can you install this and upload the log it creates for crashing and non-crashing savegame.

I played the quest from save

I played the quest from save 179 onwards and I'm unable to reproduce the crash. The only mod that you have (apart from Morroblivion and UOP) that I don't is Purge Cell Buffers - Loading.esp. Can you try disabling it and playing the quest again from save 179?

I think I found the problem.

With save 182, if I use the spell almsivi intervention to teleport out, i get a corrupted savegame. If I use the divine intervention scroll like I'm supposed to, the savegame works.

I can reproduce that with save 182.

Update: The problem seems to be with Vivec Temple.

As soon as I save there at the teleport spot, the savegame gets corrupted.

Savegames outside of Vivec work fine.

During my tests I've found that this bug is location-specific. Visit exterior area around Vivec High Fane to make sure your save won't corrupt itself when going there next time.

As soon as I save there at the teleport spot, the savegame gets corrupted.

Okay, disabling the buffer purge mod did nothing.

The problem is the spell almsivi intervention in vivec.

After using this spell in Vivec the savegame corrupts, no matter where or how I save.

Try using Mark and Recall to

It is not the Almsivi

It is not the Almsivi Intervention, if you simply walk out of Ministry of Trurh the same thing happens.

Save 182 is already affected, but I don't know what caused this.

Save 179 works fine on my setup and the bug does not occur after Mehra Milo is teleported away.

Ok what is causing the

Ok what is causing the Problem , my game is Saved Standing in Front of Vivec in the Temple have had no Problems with the Quest and Ministry of Trurh.

After some sleep I started

After some sleep I started more testing with older savegames.

I narrowed it down.

Deactivated the purge cells mod and the housing mod which I installed after starting the character. Just to be sure.

Each older savegame gives me the same result.

Giving Mehra the scroll -> teleporting out with the other scroll -> going to Ebonheart Docks -> corrupt savegame

I pretty much can do anything after giving her the scroll without corrupting the savegame except going near the Ebonheart docks for the follow-up quest. Even if I just go to Ebonheart, do nothing there and teleport out, it gets corrupted.

Update: I've been looking at the message log that I installed. Every time I try to load a corrupt savegame, it writes the following line as last message in the file.

"[0060D5E8] [WARNING] 00000014 couldn't find package 010949A7 while loading and will try to choose a new one."

I uploaded 2 message logs, maybe you guys can find something there.
