Every time I try to save my game now after installing Morroblivion, it fails to save. It says that the save was successful, but when I go back to see if the save is there, it isn't. It also deletes the saves I try to save over, only autosave works. Any ideas as to what I can do to fix this problem? (Its not OBSE)
Nope, they don't appear on
Nope, they don't appear on the list at all.
something to try
Try this and let me know the results:
1) start a game
2) open the console
3) type "save temp" without the quotes and press enter.
4) close the console and exit the game
5) reload the game and see if there is a savegame called temp & try to load it
Thanks a ton man, its working
Thanks a ton man, its working now. I'll just use this from now on.
did some reading
It appears the issue you're having may be caused by accidently hitting the Tab key when naming your character.

Saving Problems
- Problem
- As soon as I get out of the prison (in the beginning) I can't save any more! What should I do?
- Cause
- One possible cause (described in the Readme file) is pressing the Tab key while editing your character's name
- Solution
- Change your character's name at the console:
player.SetActorFullName "Player Name". - Workaround
- Load a save game from before you left the prison, and edit your character's name. Be careful while editing the name to not press the 'Tab' key (i.e., do not try to Alt-Tab out of Oblivion).

umm...
where exactly are you looking for your savegames?
do they appear in your load list if you try to load a save?
