Hi, well here is my Sample od an Male Dunmer (Morrowind) who Sings "Three Hearts as One" (Elder Scrolls Online Bard Song) Lyric Credits goto Zenimax, Voice @ Me.
And if you listen, at 1:11 you hear it wasn't easy to sing, but i believe i will made it sooner or later, it's just not easy to imitate the Voice and Sing a Song with it too. I diddn't expect that i could sing it ..
I am a good Singer, but Dunmer Voice + Singing = Impossible! - Ah my poor Throat!
Ah and it is a Bard Song, not a Simple Song, that's why it sounds more spoken, ESO players will know it.
@epiclollipop, this "hateful greetings"-Audio isAwesome! :)
Hello! I'm Nathaniel Gordon. Here's my audition for the Dunmer voices, if this is still going on. I'm a professional VO actor in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and I've loved TES since I first played Morrowind. I'd love to help any way I can.
I've also auditioned for Imperial, Khajiit, Bosmer, Breton, Orc, and Altmer.
(I should also note that I am using a professional quality sound booth, producing broadcast quality audio.)
So, if you are still in need of voice actors I'd be more than happy to help with everything I got. I have some experience in voice acting (but not really), provided my voice for a mod or two back in Oblivion days.
If you like what you here, contact me. I'm ready to work night and day to make one of my favorite games of all time reappear.
The first one is Divayth_Fyr. I have no idea on how to pronounce the name. Please correct me if I did wrong. Tried to sound old and a bit crazy. Well, I mean: He's 4000 Years Old ^^
So would T'Pau be a suitable inspiration for some of the wise old Dunmer women's manner of speech? With or without the accent? LOL I defer to Smite on that one, I just watched Amok Time before I re-recorded stuff last weekend and the thought popped into my head. :D
So, I joined this project almost two years ago. Most people know me by concept art, some might by music, but I actually started out as a voice actor :P Might be good to finally put up an audition.
I experimented with different levels of rasp for Dunmer. Going on a scale from ashlander to total n'wah. I suppose I can be assigned different roles with different levels of rasp, but I'd prefer ashlanders, as my thick accent would fit better with factions that don't speak English Imperial day-to-day.
So, the overhaul fell through the cracks for me I guess. I auditioned before. Was assigned stuff. No biggie. I'm going to attach some of the Hassour Zainsubani lines I was asked to do from before. Hopefully this isn't too late.
EDIT: I'm just seeing the assignment list now. Still leaving this up here for reference but I sent Smite a message about lines. Sorry for any confusion.
Right, well, I did some listening, some talking, and here I am back with some takes on Therana. I went higher register, a little over the top, more subdued and lower. I've also done an old lady voice sampler for you (without the wacky). I can sound considerably older than Mrs Foster but didn't do it on this audition. If none of this is in your ballpark for Therana, then at least you know what my old lady voice sounds like. heheh
Alrighty, I guess this is still technically an audition, but see my other files for variety, this one is for technical quality and "clean sound" via my new mic.
Dunmer auditionnnnn. First half is edited, second is not, love it or hate it, figured you'd get the gist of my usefulness from the first half. Yeah sorry bout the second half i'm a bit of a dick head.
Hey guys, throwing in my lot for a couple of races. Here is my Dunmer impression. I did the basic sound quality check, but I would love to hear feedback on what I can do better. Thanks!
I'm already assigned to characters but here is my my audition in accord with Smitehammers request. I promise I intended to make a serious audition but it didn't quite end up like that...
No equipment, no experience. The former I could solve if need be, the latter I unfortunately can't. Thought I'd give it a shot anyway.
Edit: I belatedly read the VA instructional guide and saw that I was going about this the wrong way. I've ordered the Samson Go Mic and will audition again once it arrives. Sorry for wasting your time.
Here's my try for the Dark Elf voice. This voice is definitely the most fun to do. I had many takes, it was really hard to find out which one sounded best, but I hope this one is okay.
The Dunmer voice with constant mild gutturation is a very difficult voice to do. I hope I did a decent job.
I wasn't sure whether to rhotacize or use RP sounding vowels. I did this audition several times and it sounded most natural to me to do "east coast American" rather than RP. But I could do it several ways.
If "Hlaalu" or other dunmer can do it without the breathy voice it would be tons easier. In Oblivion and Skyrim Dunmer are done in very neutral non-guttural voices.
Here is a sampling of voice work. Let me know if this is close to what you are seeking. I'm adding a second voice for raspy sound, different than the first. The last 3 are just for fun ;)
I could likely pull off several characters and have them sound nothing alike.
I posted here before, and I have cleaned the voice up a bit and also began to speak slower.

The Sound Quality turned out to be pretty good, I guess.

Hi, I'm uploading some general Dark Elf voices. Hope you enjoy! ^_^

Oy vey, just joined. Hope I am doing this right. Anyway, submitted for your consideration, my take on female Dark Elf using the sample lines.

Here are some new Dunmer auditions, each one with a slightly different voice. The rasp should be much better than it was in my previous auditions.
Female Dark Elf audition.
I did the sample line because that's the only reference material I could find, as I'm not entirely familiar with this site.

My audition as a Dark Elf.
Find attached my audition files for a female Dunmer. I know Arara Uvulas is taken; just picked a random character from uesp.net.
Edit: As regards availability, I can take as many characters as you want. This would also apply to the other races I've auditioned for. Here is a sampling of voice work. Let me know if this is close to what you are seeking. I'm adding a second voice for raspy sound, different than the first. The last 3 are just for fun ;)

EDIT: Forgot to normalize (Maximize) the audio so they're a bit quiet.
