Can't cure corpus [In Tel Fyr]

When i kill Dagoth Gares i go to Caius Cosades. He told me what i sick and need go to Tel Fyr. Caius told "Here. Take this Dwemer artifact and 1000 drakes...." but not give this... and as well as next Main Quest

Ditto. I'm having the same exact problem right now.

Essentially once you get the corpus diease and report back to Caius, as you talk to him and click on Orders, he goes through the normal dialog but doesn't give any items or update the quest to go to Tel Fyr.

If you go to Tel Fyr and talk to the guy directly, he says that there is no cure and it's a shame that I'll gave to go into the caves with the rest of them.

This is a new character I made using the latest release.

What's the quest id for the corprus_cure quest so I can check what stage I'm on

I had deleted a duplicate potion of levition from the file, and this caused a couple of errors that I did not catch until after I had released v031. I always try to check for errors in a couple of different ways before release, but I didn't this time so I apologize. At least I think that is the problem because adding the tube is right there in the dialog. There will not be a release this weekend, but the next release will have a fix. If you have an older version, that would work for this one series of dialog. Or, open the console and type Player.AddItem 1600A5 1 The spaces and period need to be included, but you don't have to capitalize anything.

Hmm.. Having one in my inventory doesn't enable the dialog. I tested talking again to Caius and he said the same thing, and I talked to Tel Fyr and he's just saying the same things. Having a coherer in my inventory doesn't seem to be starting the Corprus Cure quest

For some reason I ran into the problem of not being able to begin the quest to cure yourself of Corprus. I have the disease but when I return to Caius to begin the quest he tells me what to do, but does not give me the dwemer artifact or the 1000 gold (the gold is less relevant, I do need the artifact however). I tried redoing the Sixth house base quest a couple of times, but it didn't make a difference.

I also figured out that you can cure corprus with a potion, so at first I thought that was the problem, but after doing the base quest again I determined it wasnt.

Alright, for those having issues I've done some digging and this is what I've come up with. If you're having issues with this part then type this into the console player.setstage fbmwMQ08 5 That puts you at the stage just after Caius talks and tells you to go to Tel Fyr. Coupled with the item code that has already been posted here and that may get you set up to continue the quest.
