i just downloaded installed and started playing morroblivion, very cool that this could be done, and with little to no lag in even the more dense areas. only reall issue i seem to have is that my game is crashing when leveling up, im able to sleep, and issue points, but when i exit the level up menu, the game crashes. so im stuck a level 1 i guess? lol. is this a known issue?

ok figured it out, search on site lol,, well, didnt find anything useful as i have a fresh install, everything is as it should be according to install directions, have the unoffical patch, one guy thinks he fixed it by leveling himself to 50? it doesnt seem to matter if i enable the character level up menu or rest to level up, it crashes as soon as i click exit from the level up menu.

yes i tried that before uninstalling and reinstalling, i reinstalled oblivion to C rather than program files 86,, per wrye mesh/bash recommendations. im not sure that this is what fixed the problem. i checked and made sure after reading the forums that i did in fact have the install correct, and i do. however i reinstalled just for good measure and as stated, by wryebash/mesh reccomendation. i also did not install any of the additional morroblivion mods, except for the one that allows travel to cyrodill. so now i am able to level up, however after loading a game, new or otherwise, i get a message that says "menuque not installed" this doesnt seem to be haveing an effect on the game as far as i can tell, this message pops up in game a few seconds after it has loaded. im not sure what it is. i am wondering if it was something that one of the morroblivon mods contained? the game seems to randomly crash now. without any error messages. so i save often, crashing seems to happen mostly on the azuras coast side, in telvanni towns. or at least it didnt start happening untill i traveled there.

it seems running the game via wrye bash is the fix. running the game from the obse launcher is the only time it crashes on level up.
