I really like first example.

I really like first example. What I remember it was in some sovietera logo. Instead of sickle and hammer I will add sunder and keening but it  could be too direct. This statue is very well known. Maybe a bit different pose, more static, heavier and more edgy.

---------

Did dwemer women have beards too :P? It would be quite funny. It is interesting that there is no feminine depiction of dwemer or I don't remember any character. Maybe it was very masculine society.

---------

Second image is very powerful too but agriculture doesn't fit to dwemer (I wonder what did they eat). Maybe she can be some sort of scientist?

---------

They were collective so maybe king Dumac statue and approaching masses behind him.

---------

One more idea. They led wars against nord invasion maybe some sort of statue like The Motherland Monument in Kiev. It looks very dwemerish.

---------

I remember that someone did really cool dwemer statues. So until we have more important things to do and we need person which will do it in the same style (all models should be consist). All of that statues remain as undone ideas

now now people, before we

now now people, before we make dumac lenin, consult some lore techies and the such. in my opinion, dwemer were not that kind of people. they weren't for grand huge pointless statues. rather, perhaps some modules, concept architecture and arays.

Two examples of what we could

Two examples of what we could do with these Murals. Note that these are really quick mockups and do not reflect the final product

Ok, now is question how much

Ok, now is question how much it should be eye-catchy and how it looks compare the rest of interiors. If it should be background or some pattern incorporate to ordinary rooms it's good. If is it sth as main focal point then it has to have bigger level of detail and be "stand out" from the rest. For example with other materials or other proportions of materials (more stone than metal or vice versa), more "3d look". There is also question how much work could be put here. So I think it would be good to see one working (done) example in already done interiors. To find out solution and workflow. It's 14 assets, some of them could have even variations (destroyed one or with moss), so it can't be done in that way it will consume too much time.

I totally agree with murals

I totally agree with murals that have a reflective copper or brass like materialism (with some age/wear/oxidization), just my two cents.

Ok Sounds good Lukkar.

Ok Sounds good Lukkar.

Note that the metal one is so much more shiny than what it would be ingame (Quite dull with a lot of dust and dirt that has settled into it over the years)

Another thing I could do with the metal ones is give it 3d elements, so things like the focal point could be stamped out of a different material and placed over the top of the background. However I will need to test a few things before exploring this style.

What if the figures are

What if the figures are deeper into the rock face? Like the Egyptians did:

Hey Lukkar,

Hey Lukkar,

What are the chances of getting uncombined versions of this at their normal resolution?

Shieeeeeet, this is cool.

Shieeeeeet, this is cool.

@Erik

Well, unfortunately no.

Also I think some weathering would be nice, I created small visualization. PSD is in file below. Add some crack, leak, some damage etc. Now it looks a bit like fresh work. Even some parts could be destroyed in that degree that it will be unreadable, just another additional mystery to solve.

cracks link1, link2, link3

leaks link

All glory to soviet dwemers!

All glory to soviet dwemers!
---
I am thinking if there is possibility/way to depict some cues to dwemer cosmonautics, walls filled with names (instead of сеmeteries), some statues with unique faces/casts. Would be nice to throw more scientific dwemer stuff (books mostly) with naturalistic origin theories of crazy magic bedlam everywhere. Contrary to lore needed.

Many unused, demolished or

Many unused, demolished or abandoned things/buildings are bit depressing for sure. But TES world is living after many apocalyptical events, and they are on the eve of another divine/apocalyptical event, and they are in everyday threats of magickal world, where your life never can be any predictable. Every day your life can be terminated by bloody psychopath, who player is, or instead you can evaporate and become part of new astroblema, left by giant rock, thrown by one god-like entity and just stopped in time by other stupid entity.
---

So i think, bits of real darkness will be organic in such doomed world, where technological consistency is fey, and population is just too stupid to use their really great possibilities. I hope if there would'nt be such lateage stagnation here in real world without competition of real comparable opponents with different ideologies.

how about instead of going

how about instead of going for a soviet style, go for a 1930's art deco style. i think the optimism and almost caricature/geometric style would fit quite nicely.

Another idea for murals as

Another idea for murals as stone floor slabs. The textures are just mock-ups of stone, I'm sure somebody will give them appropriate awesome stone layer.

Mural for stone floor would

Mural for stone floor would be great, but it will need separate design. A bit like rug like that. Also much higher level of weathering.

Depends on from which direction player looks, he/she always sees sth heading to his/her direction. So the only place where it could exist in some form would be only gigantic halls. I have mixed feelings about that.

Geometrical design would be

Geometrical design would be pretty enough on floors. Or it will be really repetitive if not.
---
Also would be nice to have indices and ads (very formal, not commercials), made on floors.
