Please check the attached PDF. Newby with great business systems project management / consulting background for several Fortune 100 companies, but no relevant software skills to modding. I have money and time to spare to get needed skills via training, so I'm wondering where I could fit in best both now and in the long term - Skyblivion gets me excited, so maybe I could gain skill in Skywind now and be a bigger contributor for downstream projects. I do have microsoft office and database design/management skills. My limited coding skills are from the mainframe days (outdated) but I do pick up software skills quickly... I play these games 10-20 hours a week and would rather be developing/modding it for 10-20 hours a week.

When you don't have a specific skillset that fits into the gaming community it's hard to throw you into the machine. We unfortunately don't have the resources to train new people from scratch. The best thing you can do is choose an area you like, and then start watching tutorials and work yourself up from there.

You are more than welcome to post on the forum and gain feedback from users here, but as I said, we can't provide teachings to people who have close to no experience. If you find an area of the project that you would like to improve project wise, you are welcome to dip into that as well.

I think what this comes down to is what element are YOU interested in? Once you decide upon an area, go learn the skills you need to do that sort of modding. We can give you preliminary pointers of where to go look for info if you are totally in the dark, but you'll have to be self-directed beyond a couple of tutorial links as we aren't a training outfit.

Only other thing is MGMT, but with no tech experience with the engine it would be a bit difficult to know what's what. so I'd stick with the above.
