I desperately need a way to levitate (in Tel Fyr) but literally noone in mages guilds and other shops with scrolls and potions don't have any levitation potion/scroll/item, so I have to do it myself. I got trama root and racer plumes and I have an appropriate level of alchemy (and all needed equipment) so I can see second effect on other ingredients, but both racer plumes and trama root are stuck with only one effect (they don't have ??? for unknown effects or anything, just one effect listed and nothing else) and I can't create any levitation potion. Is it working as intended?

Not helpful at all. Fortunately I bought a small magicka cost spell of alteration and trained long enough to be able to cast levitation on my own, but there's still the problem of racer plumes and trama root. From what I know - they both should have "levitate" as a second effect. My alchemy level gives me the ability to see the second effect of ingredients, but both racer plumes and trama root simply don't have any second effect, they have only one (and it's not "levitate"). Almost all other ingredients have two effects visible and two unknown when I hover above them (unknown marked as separate labels with "?" on them). Racer plumes and trama root have only one label with their effect and nothing else. And I'm just curious - because it seems it was changed in Morroblivion and these two ingredients can't make levitation potion anymore.

Levitation is a scripted effect in morroblivion. Scirpted effect are treated differently from normal effects, and probably cannot be used in alchemy.
