(Complete) University student looking to apply [3D Modelling]

I wrote almost everything in the pdf.

Highlights are I'd like to help/work in 3D Modelling/Texturing. I know how to use Maya/Photoshop/Substance Painter, and I can find my way around in SpeedTree Zbrush and Marvelous Designer.

I have no idea about rigging/animation so if that's a requirement please read no further. Altho' I'm eager to learn any of those programs or workflows if someone can nudge me in the right directions (as in to tell me something helpful so I do my research and learn myself, not actually teach me).

I'm mostly applying for texturing and prop or static model, modelling because I don't really feel comfortable working with humans/animals. They almost always end up looking weird.

I forgot to put it in the form and I guess it's kinda important but I never worked with Skyrim's modding tools.

As for time (it was kinda vague on the form) I have university classes 3 times per week. Besides that I'm free except for trimester ends. And since I saw that it was asked before in another application, I'm comfortable with UVs most of the time. Same thing applies to baking maps, altho' on some rare occasions things do not want to behave. That only means I have to pay more attention and spend more time doing it until I get it right. I'm comfortable modeling in both high poly and low poly until now, but cant say for certain that no problems are going to arise. I'll just have to fix them.

Hi Atheran,

I'll be sending you a PM soon. Also are you able to do tile sets?

I only tried that a couple of years ago to make a tileset for a sci-fi project that I dropped because the other person in the team didn't have time and I couldn't do the project without an actual programmer that knows what he's doing instead of looking at the code for hours trying to get it talk to him :)

So, to answer your question I really don't know but I can sure try. If I get an example on how it's done (be it a tutorial or actual access to a tile set or even specific stuff you're looking for, like dimensions and a concept art) I don't think I'll have a problem with it but I can't promise other than I'll do my best.

The actual problem that I had back then was imagination or a list of stuff to make into a tile set. And that's my limiting factor when modeling. Give me a list of stuff you want made to fill a bar for example and I'll make them. Ask me to actually make a bar scene and I'll stare at the screen waiting for ideas to come to my mind. That's actually the reason I didn't apply for level design as well however much that interests me.
