My name is Kimberley Moore, and I am skilled in 3ds max and ZBrush. I would like to help out in any 3d modeling capacity, whether that be landscape, interiors, characters, or other assets.

Hi Adrienne,

I'm not completely confident that you're up for Skywind as a 3D task. What you could do, is try searching for Skyrim (3d)mod tutorials, and create some items that are more in 'the spirit of the game', then come back and show it to us. I can't guarantee it'll get you in, but it'll give us a better idea of where you are skill wise.

Best of luck!

Thanks for the advice. I've found a tutorial on how to do custom equipment, but I'm not sure if that process is the same for doing the environment. Do you have any recommendations for an environment tutorial? To be honest, I'd prefer to help with characters over landscaping, but I understand that you're not recruiting for that area anymore. So if I were to follow this armour tutorial that I found, would that even help at all?

It would help in the sense that you need to develop as an artist. One tutorial is probably not enough, but learning workflows and challenging yourself is the only way to evolve as a 3D artist. Doing one in this particular case will prove if you're ready to do assets. I'd recommend you start off with something smaller, as armors take around 60-80 hours to complete. Any game creation tutorial will do really, some things will differ from engine to engine, but guidelines should roughly be the same.

Correct, landscaping is rather full these days. Characters I take it you mean character model creation, this is the level of detail that would be required: [External image]
