[CODING]

Hi,

I've always been an elder scrolls fan since morrowind and have sunk countless hours into that game along with oblivion and skyrim.  I'm a computer engineer by day but would like to contribute to skywind in my spare time.  My main strengths are C++ and scripting (experience in perl and python).  I have experience with large code bases and am used to adding as much documentation as code for better maintenance of the design.  I would be interested in anything from coding game mechanics to re-coding / fixing various morrowind quests which were ported to the skyrim engine.

Thanks,

ibanez1

hello,

hello,

you should also read this, and create discord, trello, and gitlab accounts, if you haven't already.

So I've perused through a lot

So I've perused through a lot of the documentation and understand the basic concepts of papyrus.  I've set up the notepad++ editor as my main papyrus script editor although I may switch to VI if possible as it's my main code editor at work.  I also found the scripting template I should follow on the forum.  Ready for next steps.

Thanks,
