AI head tracking, even when invisible?

I'm not sure if this is new or I've just forgotten in the years since I played Morrowind or Oblivion. I don't think it's a mod, but the AI (guards or npcs) track your movements while your sneaking, even if your invisible/chameleon. The Sneak/Awareness Icon is still grayed out, but there head still tracks. This even if your behind them, sneaking and invisible. It's extremely annoying and breaks the atmosphere, as a Stealth player (can't imagine it's just me). Is there anyway to stop this behavior?

Not just You, When you Play Mournhold ( Darkbrother Hood ) you use SB Crossbow so you Can Kill them from A distance, Remember to Move before they Get to Where you were Standing. Has allways been a prob..

Thanks for the reply. It's everyone, merchants, bartenders, I'd end up killing everyone, with that crossbow! :P

Sure hope there is another way to stop this.

When Gran son completes all Quests before he Finishes the game he Plays for fun to see how many npc he can Kill before respawn (Shop keepers) this sort of thing

Oh I see, well I always play for fun but don't kill good npcs. Just mentioned I've got some kind of bug where all npcs look directly at me, even while invisible. It doesn't make any sense, for them to know where I"m standing if I'm invisible.

Anyway, thanks. I'm just trying to do my install and quash bugs, so I can have fun doing quests and exploring.  :)

Woo hoo, when I started a new game, the npcs stopped tracking me with their eyes no matter where I went! I must have had a bad load order or something, causing a conflict or corruption of my save.
