Oblivion XP questions

Submitted by Acleacius on

Doing a search, I see Oblivion XP compatibility was added to Morroblivion, thanks for all your hard work!  :)

I didn't see a thread on actually getting Oblivion XP running or suggested version. Is the newest version, i.e. Oblivion XP Update the correct version? Also when installing Oblivion XP are there any special or suggested settings for Morroblivion?

Thanks for any help, tips or links!

Its best to play a bit then tweak your settings from there. The readme for that mod is pretty informative so give it a read and you may get your settings pretty close to where you like, and if not you can adjust from there.

Thanks for the reply. I've used Oblivion XP several times and like it a lot. I've just never used it with Morroblivion, i.e. have no idea if it works out of the box (sort of speak). Have you tried it with Morroblivion, you just installed as normal and tweaked when you had a change?

This is my first time with Morroblivion, all fresh installs and the FAQ still mention it being a problem or not working, iirc. So I just avoided it until now, recently finding v.63 or v.64 added compatibility.

Yeah, I installed as normal and it worked out of the box. Mostly.

I think there is a kill XP problem as I rarely see my Xp amount change when I kill things, but it may be an issue relating to me usually having some kind of companion with me. I think its because Ob XP sees my stats as being too high compared to the low stats of the low level stuff i've been killing but IDK. It doesn't really hurt things as there are still plenty of ways to get Xp.

Yes, it seems to be working fine, thanks. I was too tired and forgot to start a new toon, so it converted my level 6, without any problems.
