After I downloaded the required file for morroblivion, for some reason I couldn't find the esm file. i'm not sure what to do.

It sounds like you have only installed the 2.3 GB Resources : Morroblivion_v064_Complete.7z which contains the ESP's + BSA's.
You also need to download a separate, much smaller (50 MB) Master File Installer:
Morroblivion_v064_Installer.7z which will install the required morrowind_ob.esm
