Permanent Corprus Disease

Hello,

I'm having an issue where after completing the Corprus Cure part of the main quest I still have Corprus disease. Not only is the icon still there but so are the effects (-1 and +1 to stats). Under the Resist Blight Disease effect is listed both Ability: Corpus and Ability: Corpus Immunity. So it seems like the Corprus Immunity was added without removing the Corprus effect. Is there a way to remove the Corprus effect? I tried talking to Fyr again but he says I'm cured and Caius advances on to the next quest as if I'm cured. This is pretty game breaking as everyone in the world treats me as if I have Corprus which ruins immersion. Any help is much appreciated.

This is normal. Corpus disease cannot be completely cured. The cure only removes the negative effects, you keep the positive effects like 100% immune to diseases.

That's the problem though. I still have the negative effects of corprus (Drain Intelligence, Willpower, Personality, and Speed 1 pt). Also, whenever I approach people they scream "You have Corprus! Stay away" and "Is that contagious?". So I seem to have a bug where I have both the active Corprus disease (as if I never got cured) and the Corprus Immunity. Both are listed under my active effects. I had another playthrough (on a friend's computer) and this didn't happen. When I got cured the Corprus effects went away and I had only the Corprus Immunity effects.

I was able to figure it out. I downloaded the Construction Set and did some digging into the parameters for the Corprus Cure quest (fbmwMQ08). Turns out there's a script that's suppossed to run (player.removespell 0corprus) upon completion of the quest. I'm guessing that script didn't run for whatever reason. I ran it manually via the console and it removed the Corprus effects. Now people are treating me like a normal person again!
