I've just started getting into Morroblivion (and Morrowind in general, in fact) and the lack of voices really hurts the immersion for me. I guess if I had started with the old ES games, that might not be the case, but I've been spoiled by Oblivion and Skyrim.
That said, I've been trying to find the best way to have voices and so far I've been using the VAsynth option. Honestly, as cool as it is that it voices every character and that some of the voices sound authentic, the often-terribly-unnatural speech patterns and word pronunciations really take me right out of the game at times. Then I noticed the project from about 10 or so years ago where there was an effort to voice all the dialogue with real people and it looks like a lot of the characters were even completed. Problem is, the latest release of it from here -- https://morroblivion.com/forums/skywind/skywind-development/... -- seems to be gone now. (Interestingly enough, in the older thread, the v002 release is somehow still there.)
Long story short: I'm looking for the latest release (v005) of the real-life voice acted dialogue and I was wondering if anyone around here still had the files or knows where to find them? I know they're not completed, but it would be neat to check out the different performances by real people in the community. Mixed with playing it in VR using Vorpx (highly recommended), I feel like it would be incredibly immersive.

There isn't much there and it's of very variable quality.
The xVASynth voices are just place holders... Within the next few months or so, we should have at least all of the unique voice lines finished with ElevenLabs AI voices, so watch for it...
That's good to hear! I may actually hold off my playthrough until that's closer to completion.
In the meantime, thanks for the voice acted link -- I'll probably mess around with it just to hear some of the fan's performances.
