This is quite odd because i actually have the shivering isles expansion activated in the data files and still the golden saint would apper invisible and would make the game crash. It happenned when i have to make the Ald Deadroth shrine safe.
im operating on vista, my game is set in another folder than in program files.. i had no problem with hungers by far, only the golden saints seem to be messed up, and what do you clearly mean by messing up the installation; installing it in disorder or what?
found out the problem now the game works perfectly thanks for trying to help :)

Please post your Operating System, Oblivion Installation Directory and load order (Bash\OBMM).
Also take a tour to the SHivering Isles (with a seperate character if you want to ) and make sure that it works.
Finally, Goldn Saints are present in Oblivion.esm and not DLCShiveringIsles.esp ... have you by any chance messed with your installation or something?
