Anyway... the prefix is TES

Anyway... the prefix is TES Renewal. And as for changing Skyblivion's name... maybe call it Cyrodiil. Nah I don't know, that's pretty generic and irrelevant.

Cyrodiil wouldnt be bad,

Cyrodiil wouldnt be bad, being that it should probably be a one word name. But I dont think the TES Renewal prefix is neccessary as we will have many other references to our name with animations and what not. The best prefix imo is "The Elder Scrolls III: Skywind" and "The Elder Scrolls IV: Cyrodiil" in theory because it stands out more that it is supposed to be related to the original.

Well, you'll get a taste of

Well, you'll get a taste of what TES 6 will be like when Fallout 4 comes out, hopefully this year.

Morrowind was 2002, Oblivion 2006, Skyrim, 2011.  At best, we've got until 2015 for TES6, and probably more like 2016.

On the other hand, Bethsoft may consider TES:Online to be the next TES game in the series (and not a separate project), and that means a new single-player game (a real TES6) won't be available until 4-5 years after TES:Online is launched.

So, I wouldn't worry too much about TES6 coming any time soon.  2 years minimum, more likely 3-6 years.

u knowe if the time come and

u knowe if the time come and u get elder scroll 6 and even if u can just copy past almost al the stuf in a new engine (wat would be super awsome but probely not so easy ) it would be crazy 3 games in a new engine i would need to replay

and if bethesda ceeps suporting moding maby a army of moders ho want a part of this (i hope)

also between morrowind and oblivion there weren't making fallout so i think u can count a extra year for it minimum

Pretty much this. If TES:O turns out to do really well, and isn't the "Blunder of year" I can actually see them doing that. Yes, you can say "blah blah blah, not being worked on by Beth, Zenimax, etc". But if the game makes them lots of money(you know, the only thing they care about), then they're going to continue to work on that mmo, and update that mmo, and delay that next TES game.

The reason Beth said that TES:O won't affect the next TES game is called PR(public relations). If Beth/Zeni came out and said "Oh, if the game does really well, well, we'll focus on the MMO" people would flip the fuck out, and pretty much want to boycott the damn game, and the sales will tank. That would be a PR nightmare, something no company wants.

Remember, Beth isn't your friend, Beth doesn't even really give a damn about the lore. The only thing they care about is money. They know their lore is money, so they try their best to upkeep their lore.

Yeah Mehh has it right. I don

Yeah Mehh has it right. I don't think you'll see TES6 until another 4-6 years. So 2018 minimum. If TES Online wasn't a product that they wanted to promote heavily for many years to come, they might have jumped straight into it, it was a big money spinner after all. They will create another single player game, dollars will guarantee that, but they will not be in a hurry to offer an alternative Elder Scroll universe for gamers for a long time yet.

I'm not obsessed with names

I'm not obsessed with names and brands, Skyblivion works fine for me. I'd rather spend my time on something meaningful instead.

1. Any rebrending company

1. Any rebrending company must have a goal. morroblivion -> tesrenewal company had a goal (3 projects - 1 name+team name).

2. Skywind: Nerevarine, Skywind: Tribunal etc is bad idea. "The Elder Scrolls 3 Renewal Project: Skywind: Nerevar: smth: smth: etc"

3. Plz forgot about tesvi name:)

If TES 6 is set in Hammerfell

If TES 6 is set in Hammerfell, I think the project for that should be called "Windfell". :p

I think it should be "Hammerwind", because while "Windfell" would work for just that project, I think we should keep all our projects of a certain gen with the same naming style. So:

"Hammerwind"

"Hammerblivion"

"Hammerim"(?)

I believe one of the reasons

I believe one of the reasons for choosing Skywind was that Sky and Wind are both elemental like Morrowind is (Tomorrow's wind).

Plus, Windfell is easier on the tongue and what-not. For the Skyrim conversion, Skyfell could work well.

Oblivifell could work as it

Oblivifell could work as it is consistent with Skyfell and Windfell.

Instead of Skyblivion?

Instead of Skyblivion?  Skyrodiil!

Also, regarding Skywind?  Early on in the project this disucssion went on, a number of names were tossed around before settling on Skywind.  Honestly?  I think it's the best we stick with it.  It's known and when you hear it you know what it's referring to.  No reason at all to change it.

Tree hippies.  Have you read A Dance in the Fire?  The elves of Valenwood are the most savage race in Tamriel- maybe all of Nirn.  The green pact made them the OPPOSITE of hippies.  They are obligate carnivores who must eat the flesh of those they slay in battle within three days to keep with Bosmer tradition.  They make bows of bone and sinew, smoke bone pipes with dried and ground grubs in place of plant material, and moon-sugar addicted Khajiit is their favorite delicacy.  Tree hippies.  Pfft.

Not to be a buzz-kill; but can we stay on topic, discussion on tes6 will most likely  occur at a more proper time.
