I'd like to try out Dunmer, but wasn't able to find any lines. I don't currently have either morrowind or oblivion. Was considering getting Morrowind when Skywind was finished to play it on my skyrim game. But meanwhile I thought I could help out a little.
So yeah, as asked previously in the thread, if anyone would be willing to help out getting the scripts for us I think there will be a lot more voiceovers done.
We'd need someone who organizes the voiceover a bit more, at this point people comes and goes talking about voicing someone and aren't sure about who because they don't know who is taken or about what dialogue they have, that sort of things.
Hmm, made a list of the npcs but it's ridiculously long! I'll make a list of npcs related to quests then we'll see.
Also I'll do voices for dark elves and possibly nords/imperials/bretons.
Edit: I'm done with Foryn Gilnith and have started with Han-Ammu.
Jesus does Han-Ammu have many long names to pronounce, it's almost ridiculous.
He also have 24 different versions of a single speech, all of them very long.
Edit:
And I'll do Bolvyn Venim while I'm at it.
I also sent Exoclyps the dialogue of Relam Arinith.
And lastly today: Listen to a dialogue I recorded that came to an interesting conclusion.
Anyone have any good suggestions for a young female voice? I'm 20 years old and I don't want my voice sticking out awfully. I'm not even sure if I'd fit any role. I guess I can try to sound maturer than I really do, maybe I could do a Serana-ish voice like in Skyrim? But honestly, if anyone has any suggestions for a character I should try, I will, but I wont promise to upload if I feel like it's awful hehe.
I kinda got ahead of myself and did a few voices... They're really only a test run because I want to post them here for critiquing and such... Didn't want to go through all the effort to have people tell me that I sound absolutely horrendous and so on... :') I know they're not PERFECT and I could certainly improve a few parts, but this is my first try so... D: Oh and please listen to all of them, they all sound very different from each other.
(Note here: The khajiits of Morrowind sound a little uhh...Different to the ones in Skyrim. I was trying to go for a happy medium... I have no idea if that's over or under doing it...)
I think this one is the worst and most illfitting, even though it's the only one where I sound quite normal. I adjusted the pitch of all the voices btw, so my real voice is actually slightly higher. :') Anyway this one just sounds pretty lame to me..? x)
Anyways, don't be afraid to critique! I promise I wont mind it even if you tell me that I sound totally awful and it doesn't fit. Please do say if you think so, because it would be even worse if my voice ended up in the game and would make every player laugh/cringe hehe. And please do comment and tell me how I could improve etc. Whatever you think, PLEASE COMMENT! :)
Like I said before, things are far too disorganized here and people just comes and goes without getting acknowledgement! That's just terrable.
I think your voice is great, the one you call "worst and most illfitting" I think is best, (but that may be because I never liked skyrim style nord voices, they sound too try-hard) Your natrual voice would be great for breton or perhaps wood and high elves, while the nord voice is still great.
The khajiit voice, I always got the impression they were more "dry" if you get my drift.
But as I said, you sound good as nords/bretons/altmer/bosmer.
Yeah, the voice project is a huge mess, it doesn't have any leadership I think. Plus we have robot voiced dialog coming out to help out with the missing voices
As for voice actors, I didn't listen to a whole lot of them, but I remember one of the voice actors here actually pulled off a really great Dark Elf.
Also I seen quite a few Oblivion LPs and played a few mods with custom voiced dialog, and I hope our voiced dialog is better than theirs. Because some of the the mods in Oblivion, when they add custom voiced dialog it stuck out like a sore thumb. I remember one sounded like the guy was mumbling on Skype, and had to remove the voiced dialog because I kept laughing everytime I spoke to the npc.
Hi,
I have a friend that's a Sag actor thats done voice overs and we have a decent recording set up. Hes also good at post production so what ever we produce im sure will be good. But anyway me and him would be intersted in contributing. Im thinking id like to tackel some khajiit male voices. We would need the script or the required lines and that about it. Also is this going to be used for skywind at some point?
Thanks
Also if this seems to go good we could do even more voices. Hes into it im into it and id like for this to get finished intime for a skywind release. If we get the right help we could between the 2 of use make a good dent in the voices. Im thinking any main characters need to be completed first so whats required there?
Hi! Is there a list of characters where it says whether they've been taken or not? Because I'm willing to do a couple Bosmer characters!

Sorry, double post.

Well, it seems the mods are too busy and kinda forgot this topic even exist. But hey, I say go for it, because we do indeed need the voice overs.
If you're still looking for people to do voices I'd be happy to help.
Where's a good place to start?

By the way, here's a helpful video for all prospecting voice actors if you're interested!

Yeah, but IMO I have never heard even a semi-realistic/good computer generated voice so my hopes aren't very high.
