Update Notice: September 18, 2016

Guide to Modding Morroblivion (Revised) is still being updated as I mod my own game. I have reverted to Wrye Bash as my primary mod manager. Whenever I learn something new about keeping my own mods stable, I will continue to revise that guide. I have already discovered some new utilities and updated mods that I have included. Visit tesrenewal.com/forums/oblivion-general-chat/guide-to-modding-morroblivion-revised to view the updated revisions.

I will leave the draft guide for Successfully Modding Morroblivion with Mod Organizer up on this link for those who are interested.

The next phase of this guide will be Oblivion Overhaul with FCOM Convergence and other recommended complimentary mods. Have fun gaming this weekend! [External image]

I have my PC back up and running again, I just need to finalize some driver updates. I restored it to the original OS Windows 8.1 (which got upgraded to Windows 10).  Before my computer crashed from the latest Windows 10 Anniversary update, I was able to finish expanding on the FCOM Convergence mods, however, I would like to test the mods out a little more before updating the guide. It may be a couple of weeks before I can get to it.

FCOM Core and Expanded with Complimentary Mods is now included in the guide attached in the original post. The next phase will include more mods focusing on fixes, gameplay, immersion, meshes, textures, etc...

The guide is now updated with Other Game Fixes and Tweaks and Quests. There is still more to come...

The guide is now updated with Conflicting Graphics, Cosmetic Mods and Body Meshes, and TR Worldmaps v1.0 has been added to the UI section.

Updated the OCO2 Patches to reflect the recommended Bash Tags to be added.

My next task is to Fix Plugin Errors and Merge Mods.

I have decided to take a break from this project for a while. Personally, I am ready to play my own game for a while and try out some of the new mods and tutorials that have been posted on here lately. But by following what I have worked on so far, you can at least get the gist of what it will take to force Mod Organizer to recognize your Morroblivion install.

In my opinion, Wrye Bash truly is the best mod manager to use for Morroblivion. Mod Organizer just doesn't play well with some games. You can force it to work, but why bother taking all those extra tedious steps when you are already using Wrye Bash, which is a very sound, reliable, and versatile utility.

As I mod my own game, I will probably update my other manual, Guide to Modding Morroblivion (Revised), using Wrye Bash as my mod manager.

Thanks for all your hardwork on both Guides!  Whenever I want to install a new mod or utility, your guides are the first place I turn for instructions on how to install something in a way that doesn't break the rest of setup. [External image]

And I hope you really enjoy getting back into actually playing the game -- that's the whole point of doing the guides right?

Thanks for your work! :)

I must have used Search incorrectly when I searched for mod organizer and made my first post. I found this thread via google and about to read your guide for the first time. I wanted use this to keep my /data folder clean and have a separate install of mod organizer for morroblivion and oblivion.

Edit: Wow, you should have named your thread, "Fully Modified Oblivion, with Morroblivion and Mod Organizer added in" ;)
FYI, I've read it's actually best to use Mod Organizer v1.2.18, though it might not help since you've used so many mods.

Thanks again and good luck
