Hey there, just wanted to say hi to you all. Hope your all well? Im well thanks. Im James from uk, aged 33 and just started learning how to use bash, boss and all them tools etc. my interests are the arts and music in real life and im a christian.
anyways, forgive me for posting this bit here as im not used to the place yet. i dont usually go on many forums.
I wanted to mention that ive been following the install video's down to a t, and got to the 'INSTALLERS' bit on the last vid where i reorder them in right load order and then right click on them and click install. anyways, when i right click on Morroblivion 0.22 and click install, the wyre bash programs just sits there doing nothing, it acually crashes and says python not working (something like that). i want to also mention that i downloaded the latest Morrowind_ob_Version_027 which contains a installer (have to have .framwork installed to run) and i install it, follow instructions to id morrowind folder and oblivion folder and then it says, installed successfully. just bash wont do the morrowind ob version 0.27 . anyone any ideas? and please, for the future could you tell me where to post this sort of request for assistance.
James.

bash install
Hi James,
Installing morroblivion is not an easy task for the uninitiated Oblivion modder, but don't worry, you'll get the hang of it.
Here are a few thoughts:
Are you using the most recent version of Wrye Bash? I use the v2.91 Installer Version, and prior to installing that, I install the Wrye Python 03a package for the python installation.
You don't have to name your Morroblivion folder "Morroblivion v022" - if you are installing v027, you should name the folder "Morroblivion v027" - or name it whatever you want.
I should have mentioned in the videos that instead of using Ctrl+Up and Ctrl+Down you can also right click a mod and choose "Move to...". This will allow you to enter a number, and that will be the rank that the mod has in terms of install order. This is typically a faster way to order the mods in your list.
Once you have your install order set up properly, you do want to right click each one and choose "install", starting with the top of the mod list. This can take a LONG time - several minutes, up to 10 minutes or more depending on: the speed of your computer, the size of the mod, the size and fullness of your hard drive, and where you have installed Oblivion/Bash. Installing just the Morroblivion mod on my high end Intel Core i7 950 takes around 5 minutes. If you click somewhere in Bash or try to do other things while it is installing, it can crash the program sometimes. It is best to wait for it. Go make a sandwhich while you wait.
What are the specs on your computer?
