Download latest version (1.2) here and quick fix here.
For details read the thread

This is a comprehensive replacer for all Morroblivion pants (28 variants).
The main goal of this mod is to update meshes to Oblivion standard, while maintaining original Morrowind design.

Examples: Original / Updated (male and female)

Well, I think you get the idea, not going to post all 28 here

Male models:

Now all that's left is to duplicate the meshes several times, applying different textures and create some normal maps

Skirt update is

Skirt update is out:

Download

New esp includes both pants and skirts. However you still need to download archive from first post (if you haven't already) for the resourses.
Skirts use HGEC female and Robert's male bodybase. If you're using other body replacers there might be visual oddities (mostly with short skirts)

Yea, I think that clothes

Yea, I think that clothes with original design realy add a lot to atmosphere. That's exactly why I started this replacer.

I was thinking about this a few moments ago and remembered Hashmi1's Robes Restored resource. I thought you might be interested. maybe you could find a use for it?

Yeah, I've seen this (it's part of existing clothing replacer)
Maybe I'll update the rest of the robes, so the replacer would be complete.

And this will still leave us with shirts and shoes
Shirts probably will be very time-consuming, since most of them are unique (unlike pants\skirts where you can just apply different textures to same models)

Also, lets not forget rings and amulets. Converting them is relatively easy, but redirecting records in CS to new models is very boring

I know, every time I rebuild

I know, every time I rebuild my bashed patch I compulsively assign every Bosmer lore-correct pitch black eyes. it takes forever with all my mods. I can only imagine doing the same with every model, ground model, and icon, for every piece of clothing in morrowind.

I'm slowly continuing this

I'm slowly continuing this replacer - working on shoes and robes right now.

For shoes I mostly re-use Morrowind meshes fitted to Oblivion body, but some of them are just so bad that I have to recreate everything from scratch, like in this example:

Some ingame shots:

For robes I'm making better ground models for Hashmi's restored robes

Still need to convert about 8 robes, but this shouldn't be hard.

Thanks

I almost finished the shoes. Here're some more examples (the first one is questionable, but this is as close as I could get to original design, without it looking super ugly):

Common shirt 01 - the first fully converted shirt

I'm also trying to make female robes less bulky. Something like this:

Great Work!

I agree with everybody else. Great Work! Thank you!

I love your female robes! I agree that Oblivion female robes are terrible.

I am hopeful that you will continue to the shirts. OldWolf's stuff was certainly better than vanilla, but I could really do without his exaggerated breasts and BBB!

Sure, go ahead. Note that, only pants and skirts are currently available for download. Next release will include shoes and (hopefully) robes - you can expect it in a week or so. (it will include some tweaks and updates to previously released meshes as well)

A little later than expected,

A little later than expected, but ver. 1.2 is here

Changes:
- Added missing skirt model
- New, more badass, ground models for pants
- Some pants were given different shapes to increase diversity. Examples:

- All 19 shoes variations (pictures in the posts above)
- Included 21 robes converted by Hashmi + 4 more robes converted by me (6 robes still need to be coverted)
- A few robes have updated ground and female models (see posts above)
- 2 Shirts: Common01 (male and female), exquisite (male only):

- Mod packed into single archive, all textures optimized. Added Bash tags: {Graphics, NoMerge}

Download (When installing, overwrite all previous files)

I had a file up on mediafire

I had a file up on mediafire that just gave someone that exact same error! I wonder what's going on...
Mine was 7z as well, so I'm reuploading as a zip, maybe that has something to do with it.

And yeah, the clothing is a sight for sore eyes. It's so good to see the old Morrowind Style... except without being so blocky. Thanks qwerty!

Update?

Was just reading this and noticed nobody had posted anything for a month. Have you made any more updates on this mod and have you added the most recent robes to the download?
