Hi,

I was wondering if it would be possible for someone to convert the

Giant Scorpions from the Giant Ultimates extra creatures for Morrowind

found at http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.detail&id=994

I would greatly appreciate any consideration.

They sound cool so i will try to convert my first creature. *If i can make this work then i will convert Tribunal creatures*

Yeah! Please try to do the Tribunal creatures. I think the only ones requiring immediate attention are the hulkings and fabricants.

Amazing progress Ashlander!

Thanx brutal7 for this, I realize most here are working on Morrowind official creatures which is great.

I now have a lot of Morrowind creatures.  I got into level building awhile back in mid 90's but never

developed the modeling aspect of it.  Is there a detailed tutorial on how to do these conversions?

I would like to learn how to do conversions, but I'd have to start from scratch.  Just conversions,

not full modeling.

Thanx Ashlander1 as well.  I guess between you and Brutal7 we may get a Giant Scorpion soon!

Or ill make a new topic for those creatures. :) ah and if someone could find the time and test the creatures that need to be tested? Thanks! :)

I'm not getting Oblivion (Anniversary Edition) until Wednesday.  I have a delay-the-main-quest mod

that I'm going to modify to allow me to teleport (by nearby door) after instant character creation so I

can go immediately to a large test arena.  I can test your creatures.  After placing a creature is there

any specific way of testing them you'd like to see?

Nah just normal testing :) Fighting with it, watching it and nothing else.

I just read an article that the Oblivion Anniversary Edition is not the same as the OGOTY Edition.

OAE is missing all but the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine dlc mods.  That means no

horse armor.  I think it should have been the OGOTY Edition with some extras.  I would have

paid more.  I wonder if they will release the dlc mods for free when Skyrim is about to be

released in November.

GOTY didn't have the dlc. You are thinking of GOTY Deluxe.

The article didn't specify or make any distinction from what I recall.  If I find it I'll post a link to it here.

The word Deluxe never came up.  Well, I guess in that case the Anniversary Edition has ADDED content,

(2 dlcs) which means it is a deal afterall.

You are amazing, how the heck did you manage to do this so quickly...not that im complaining:). This is awesome, i cant wait to get my hands on Hircine in Solstheim! Hopefully we all can see these creatures in Solstheim soon.

Thanks for the feedback :) I hope that the creatures will be added to the main fille soon :)

Great to hear Ashlander, I can't wait to see them either!

Great work, Ashlander1.

I really hope Morrowind and it's expansions are done in full in Oblivion (it

would be two-games-in-one).

Does this mean all creatures from Morrowind and it's two expansions are now

available for Oblivion?  I have many creatures from Morrowind itself now (Scrib... etc.).

What about hircines aspect of Guile?

Hircine aspect of Guile is a normal Hircine. So there is no file named Hircine aspect of Guile becouse it uses the Hircine meshes and animations :)

And thanks for the feedback! :D

Convert the Spriggan :D

oh and what about plaque wolf and bear

I think that Sriggans have been replaced with the original and the bears that are brow, black are allredy replaced with the normal brown and black bears from Oblivion. Plagued bear is a brown bear with disease. :)

What about Plauged wolf?

Plagued wolf is the Red Wolf.

Oh.

Yea xD

I downloaded the latest file and there seems to be a problem ... most of the creatures are lacking textures (their texture folders have a duplicate copy of the nif\kf files).

Well as a temporary fix I would just copy the needed textures over from my Morrowind/data/textures manually until Ashlander fixes it. I'll add them and upload but wouldn't it be illegal because you can't use a games's assets in another game. At least the main mod requires you to have Morrowind, Bloodmoon and Tribunal. EDIT: Silly me. That wouldn't work because Morrowind's textures are a different to Oblivion's.

Im going to fix the textures right away. Cant understand how i did that :S
Karma: 0 (0 votes)

Now all the textures are working :) sory for the mistake.

Hey Ashlander, I'm thinking I may work to add these creatures into the game. I'm downloading them now.

Would you be able to update the first post with the latest link when you update the files, so I know when I need to redownload files?

Once I test i'll be back to endorse.

Thanks Ashlander!

EDIT

So I started working on putting these in the game.

Great work Ashlander! I'm really impressed with how thorough you were. Everytime I thought you were missing something I was wrong, everything was there and looked just like the wiki picture of the monster. Thanks man!

Here's my thread for putting these sweet creatures in the game.

ps. So uh, any thought on doing the tribunal monsters? nudge nudge. :D

use darknuts textures as far as I know there never was a lot of creature retextures for bloodmoon if anyone wants them I can do them (and quickly) but it would be without permission from darknut...

oh well already used still I'm making better normal maps since they look  flat in game

Sweet! Pm me so I can see them as I test the creatures.

okey one note is that I am replacing some of the textures with the 1024 varient, I'll get them to you as soon as I can,

Sounds good! :D

Moved this thread to the "Mods" subforum as part of my 'organizing the forums again' routine. :)

Cool. I guess that explains why all these topics have been 'updated'. :D

Good work then I guess. ;P

Hey guys im back after a long long time...the problem was i got ill and was in the hospital for quite some time...i contracted a bacteria so it was not prity :) buuuut im all good now. Can anyone give me a update of the curent status? Thanks!

Hey, Welcome back Ashlander!

I started working on incorperating your bloodmoon creatures into the game. You can check out my progress here. Right now its going SUPER slow due to school, but I'm hoping to work on more here once this month (and my quarter) are over.

One issue I know I could use your help with right off the bat is the riekling's size. I think they're maybe 1.5x too big. Other than that your creatures look wonderful!

Also sound for the creatures: Would you be able to convert the origional creatures sound over, or should I ask Robertneville about something like that?

Again, its great to have you back and I'm glad to hear that it was only bacteria and that your doing well now. :D

Hey Ashlander, thanks for coming back!  Hope you are feeling better, that sounds really bad!!!  Stay healthy!
