As I am doing a full, clean install of Morrowblivion after having numerous problems (which I know are 100% related to my trainwrecked Data folder), I am putting together (in order) one master .7z with all of the core install files (and many of the optionals).
The idea here being that, at least as of .47, it would be just a single Bash install (or copy into Oblivion/Data which I don't do).
I am making this to keep my Bash Installs directory/list clean, as well as to have it on standby for any future reinstalls.
I was wondering if:
A. It would even be permissible/authorized by the powers that be to create a torrent for this
B. While I am doing a clean install, and will test it thoroughly before calling it good, would this cause more grief than it is worth as far as generating new support issues?
C. It would be easy to keep it updated, and I don't mind do that... at the very least, I would take it down from my server once it becomes outdated.
In order to do this, I would create a modified Readme/Install doc with it, explaining the steps from the main readme that it combines.
If creating one compiled Data directory with the core files is not approved of, would creating a single torrent with all of the stand-alone files/options untouched be acceptable? I.e., running through every link here and packaging up all of those files in one easy to download torrent?
Searching out and downloading everything from 4 or 5 different sites is fun... once... hahahaha
Anyway, would not think of doing anything like this without the blessings of the powers that be.
Thanks,
TR

LOL, Torrents are EVIL!
LOL, Torrents are EVIL!
You have NO idea what kind of EVIL you’re getting yourself into.
I have to agree that downloading the full package is not a smooth process.
On the other hand downloading mods is not supposed to be easy going.
