I know it's a bit late, but your Umbra was awesome, Serithi. I could feel his melancholy.
As for your dunmer, you have the raspiness down, but you sound a bit out of breath.

Cool!
@Twisted Logic: Yeah, i actually go through my whole lungful of air with only a handful of words. I don't yet know how other people can talk like that without running out of breath.
EDIT: Also, has the script thingy been updated with the missing line i told Thermador about? Just so i know what its filename is.
EDIT: Hasn't been updated yet, also i just realized there's actually two missing bits. The greeting line that i told Thermador about, and also the "nothing left" bit. Here's a pic of all the lines, with the missing parts circled.
Not sure thermador is the

I've separated the lines into the individual files, all that's needed is the filenames for those missing lines then it'll be complete.
I separated the "nothing left" lines as follows:
1. I have no more to do in this life. I have saved whole towns from packs of Daedra, and i have slaughtered men for the glory of countless nobles.
2. All that is left for me is my own death, and the gods have cheated me of that.
3. All i ask is to [die like a warrior], but how can that be?
Which i'd imagine is how it'd be separated anyway :P.
Should be OK, sounds good,

stijmunkeyMooncat, that is a valid point but I believe it has been agreed that the original voice is the way to go, besides the technical difficulties, avoiding having one npc with 2 voices, morrowind fans are crazy about that voice especially juib he is the most recognized dunmer in all of morrowind and the standard everyone looks to for the original dunmer voiceOh hey, according to UESP Jiub had the same voice actor in Morrowind and Dawnguard, so it's a moot point in his case.
Neloth will just have to be inconsistent. Oh well. =P

Same Actor but still using different voice so still an ok point? eh eh :D
Have none of you played
Have none of you played dawnguard? Jiub does have the same raspy voice as he had in morrowind, the only dunmer since morrowind.
Also Synnolian Tunifus is done and I also voiced the nord Tymvaul and the dunmer Tarer Braryn.
And another thing I'd like to announce, from now on I won't do any dark elves with tons of dialogue, only some minor ones I'm afraid.
For the people who haven't
For the people who haven't played Dawn Guard, here is Jiub's appearance in Dawn Guard, it obliviously contains spoilers.

serithi have you tried to
serithi have you tried to stand up while speaking like a dunmer? It helped for me :) i know it is not singing but maybe these tips can make a difference

it also helped to make the pitch of my dunmer voice higher, it's hard to get the raspy sound while still talking in a deep voice i think.

Really? I have the opposite problem. My voice gets a bit higher when I do the raspy voice.

I would love to help out
I would love to help out here, I have a Logitech USB headset with a pretty decent microphone on it. Is there a way I can send some samples to see if it's a good enough quality? Also, how would I know which 'assigned' voices are possibly free? I see that they've been there for a long time ;)
Cheers!

Just upload them and post
I have attached files
I have attached files required for the voice of Yngling Half-Troll. However, I couldn't make the LIP files due to some incompatibilities. Deep apologies. I hope you enjoy the voice!

By the way Skyrim supports
By the way Skyrim supports mono mp3 voice files (no need for xwm or fuz) and lipsync .lip files are compatible between all Bethesda games. So if you ever decide to reuse something from Morroblivion, only files renaming should be required in theory.

zilavAbsolutely correct on all accounts sir, in fact all of the voices currently make it into morroblivion first as the spreadsheet has the morroblivion file names, I also have it set up to generate the lip files by batch in oblivion cs, then just rename them for skywind, converting them to xwm then to fuz is simply to save space and cut the number of files in half, little easier to keep track of that way, and not so big of a downloadBy the way Skyrim supports mono mp3 voice files (no need for xwm or fuz) and lipsync .lip files are compatible between all Bethesda games. Okay, so I FINALLY finished
Okay, so I FINALLY finished Athyn Sarethi's lines. Sorry for the wait--I just finished summer finals last week and spent this weekend putting the finishing touches on the lines. I hope the quality is satisfactory. I'm working on trying to convert the .LIP files at the moment, but for now, I have attached the package containing just the .wav and .mp3 files.
EDIT: I have re-uploaded the .zip package containing the .mp3 and .wav files. Despite spending several hours trying to fix it, I cannot get the Construction Set Extender to properly load the Voice Overs plugin, so at the moment I'm unable to create .LIP files. I hope this isn't a crippling problem.
Unless I need to make any changes (and please tell me if this is the case), I think that I'm done with Athyn Sarethi's lines. Anyone who's interested can feel free to give them a listen.
I think I'd like to tackle Miner Arobar next, if that's alright. If I need to re-audition, please let me know.

Hi all,
I'm pretty new to this thread (and voice acting in general), but i wanted to lend a hand. this is the audition of Ganciele Dourar:
https://soundcloud.com/bacon933-1/ganciele-dourar
I've noticed that some of the characters in Morrowind already had voices, so i wasn't sure if you guys were trying to replicate those voices or doing your own thing that fits the character, so i went for the latter.
I also did a few lines for Canctunian Ponius, but I think I've mispronounced his name :\

@teebs one audition per race
@teebs one audition per race is fine, plus your voice is awesome!

i quite liked the first voice, the second was also pretty good, if not a tad young sounding
The first sounds far too
The first sounds far too try-hard to sound older and gruff to the point where it sounds silly, I like the second one far better but yeah, a little too young. But at least is sounds natural, believable.
Should i re-do canctunian's
Should i re-do canctunian's lines to be deeper, then?

it is very unclear whicj characters still need voice acting at this point, is there anyone keeping track? cuz I see allot of claims that arent registered. such as hlaren wich I was planning on doing. and I dont know for sure if this person is still working on it either :p

You want to do a Russian
There is actually a russian
There is actually a russian thread about voice acting, and as difficult and confusing as it is to even get a english voice cast I imagine a russian one be even harder so I suggest we don't get involved, especially since our own is far from done.

We should finish the english
We should finish the english version first since it caters to a larger audience, and then fill in with other languages as separate downloads.
