"Join the Morag Tong" Dialogue

Submitted by Warmacblu on

Hi all,

I just want to say that I have been enjoying Skywind for a few days now and have not ran into many issues. I've searched the forums for the problems I have experienced and could not find anything so here is a little list of problems that I have experienced:

1) All NPC's are in their underwear - found answer on forums

2) NPC's comment about my decency after starting a new character - kind of addressed on forums

3) Several lines of dialogue text from Skywind have leaked into my Skyrim game such as "Join the Morag Tong".

4) I can't enter any of the merchant buildings in Balmora

5) I can't join the fighters guild

All in all, I am very pleased with the work that the community has put in and I also wanted to mention that I do not have any performance issues with an i7-3770K and a GTX 580 3GB, I can maintain a constant 60 frames per second everywhere I have visited so far. I do notice that the graphics card memory usage has been up to 2.3GB but that may be due to the fact that I have the HD texture packs from Skyrim installed.

Thanks for all of the hard work.

Yes the Morag Tong thing happens to everyone, everyone knows about it, it will be fixed but it's not game changing.

Hmmm, number 2 was already fixed, but I'm not sure if it's in the public release.

I haven't noticed it and I'm running the public release so I'm not too sure if this guy is fully up to date...

- Decency bug is fixed in latest public release (a script was not packaged previously).

- Join the morag tong dialog in Skyrim. This is a condition problem. Will be fixed (keep those coming!)

Thanks for all of the replies guys. I did start a new character and have not had the NPC's comment about my decency, so great job with the fix.

Can anyone comment about my fourth and fifth points?

I am assuming that the fifth point is easily answered because the quests are not complete, so I don't really expect to be able to join the guild.

4) I can't enter any of the merchant buildings in Balmora

> What do you mean, it crashes when you load the interior ? you have no option to open the door ?

5) I can't join the fighters guild

> Yeah this guild questline is not yet in-game. There is however a post somewhere with a WIP version IIRC, you can download and help debug/give feedback if you want.

Fighters guild quest stuff

Right, sorry, I should have given more detail. All of the merchant shops are locked no matter what time of day I try to access them. I should also mention that I do not have any of the Skyrim DLC so I also do not see any Silt Striders, but I am not sure if that should have any effect on the shops in Balmora.

I will definitely check out the Fighters Guild stuff, thanks.

ok maybe there's a schedule issue with the merchants or just the doors are locked by default. We'll check.

Regarding the lack of Dragonborn DLC. The striders will not appear because you will be missing the ressource but however talking to the dude in charge of the strider should allow you to fast travel all the same (just imagine the strider is here :P)
