agreed, although i believe with a little tweaking of that accent you could do a nord quite well

ok this was actually pretty good feel free to take some dunmer aswell, all your other "nord" voices are good but id rather not have too many of them with no accent some are good without it but definitely all the skaal should have the accent, and just for clarification everything you have "auditioned" for recently is small roles right so if you ended up recording all or most of the lines for them then just let me know and finish and pack them up! then pick some more dunmer we need those the most

these sound much better!, and as far as im concerned close enough for me! if no one else objects im fine assigning you to some dunmer, also dont be afraid to do an orc or two with your first voice

I do have editing software but the conversion software that was recommended here turns out to be a trial version.
so I can edit all the tracks I record but can't upload them because none are MP3.

If you honestly like the voice I would be beyond happy to purchase the program and continue.

With the second line, from "Why have you denied him?" onwards, i put all that in the third line instead. How it's shown in the dialogue file doesn't really flow right, having all that on the second line instead of the next line. It's basically like starting a new sentence at the end of one paragraph and then continuing it on a new paragraph.

It's simply called "pops", I like your voice in general and I think it does fit dark elves. I'd suggest Nevena Ules or Brara Morvayn for example, but maybe not old enough sounding for a wise woman like Nibani Maesa.

Not necessarily just dunmers but also imperials or bretons would suit you but the dunmer list is quite longer.

It for sure matches dark elves, and that is definitely what we need the most, as cor said though a little young, which is fine just avoid the older roles, basically all the wise women, and do need to clean up the audio a bit, try the tricks (hanging up blankets to block echo and background noise, make a homemade pop filter, new mic if possible) try that and edit out background noise as best you can and throw up some more samples, we even have a few audio engineers now that might be able to help with cleaning up the audio, basically once we can get the quality up to snuff we can put you to work!

Yes, it is the same mic. I'm really glad you liked it! Yeah, she's probably way too old for me to voice. You're right. I put some nylon stockings on the mic while recording. The mic is pretty bad (got it with my keyboard) but I can't really get a new one now, because I'm on a tight budget. If anyone can suggest me some good brands of microphones, please announce me. As I said yesterday, I would love to help, even voice more characters if needed. If there's anyone good at editing audio and could help me with the editing, I would appreciate it.

I agree that younger characters would suit you well, especially Nords.

You may be able to clean up the background noise using the free program Audacity. (http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Noise_Removal) By applying the noise filter to the whole sound file, you may be able to scrub out the background fuzz, but it's not always successful.

Hello everyone!

I'm sorry for not posting any voice samples yet. I just got a promotion at work and it's been hectic lately, so I've been run pretty ragged with all that's been going on.

That being said, I did get my Yeti in and I think my "Super Fancy Recording Space" (aka: my closet with a bunch of clothes and towels all over, lol) is pretty much done. I had recorded a couple random sample lines, but wasn't happy with them as I have yet to get over the common/age-old problem of disliking one's own voice, lol.

Anyway, I just wanted to pop my head in and let you all know I'm still alive and interested in helping with some sort of female voice acting. I'm going to try to set some time aside this weekend to possibly record, so that I can at least get some advice, feedback, and maybe get a feel for what kind of character my voice is best suited for*.

*As a heads up, I tend to be rather soft-spoken, and while I was born and raised in the southern part of the U.S., I've been told that I don't have a southern accent. I've also been told that my voice is soothing, but I'm not entirely sure how accurate that may be, lol.

when i could find the spare time ive been pluggin away at voices, i have all of the complete female dunmer in, and a few other characters, din, and kaushad to name a few, and i plan on doing more if i can get the time. i just wanted to say ive been listening to every line as i put them in and this is really great work guys im sitting here just listening in awe half the time all im doing is listening and its already breathing life into these characters! lol cracked up more than once on din i think it was, funny stuff! anyways i just wanted to update you guys on the amazing job you are doing and encourage you to keep it up! i am simply blown away at how much of a difference this will make the game will really come to life, im so excited by the possibilities of this i can barely type! as tedious as putting the voices in game is its been really fun lately listening to all the dialogue! anyway mini rant over . . . . . for the new people: samples samples samples!

I especially like your

I especially like your audition for Lirielle Stone and it definitely sounds better with some of the background fuzz scrubbed out. I would recommend that you really try to get into the mindset of the characters you are voicing. Your delivery is good, but the character of Lirielle for example, has recently discovered her brother has died and worse still, the Cammona Tong will likely kill her if she doesn't pay off his debts. Imagine what that would be like and then deliver your lines. I sensed it in your audition, but push that emotion further.
