Do you know any characters off the top your head, suited for a younger male voice? (18 years old) :-)
Would really love to take part in this project :-)!!

Unfortunately I only have my computer's microphone and I don't have a soundproofed room available. What would you suggest for further clearing up the voice?
I'm not entirely sure what voices you intend with different accents and the whether american or nordic Nords, but I am fairly flexible. Second Dunmer sample, though not as good as the previous one, and certainly not as easy to get the voice of, I can do a passable second male Dunmer voice from Dragonborn.
A noise gate would fix that
A noise gate would fix that right up, for the most part. Should be one in audacity.
I've been wanting to voice
I've been wanting to voice some Bosmer seeing as how they're my favorite race and I'm young. I have AV classes in school and my teacher has agreed to let me use some of the recording software in between working on video projects.
I know that there is a ton of
I know that there is a ton of voice work left to do, but out of curiousity I'm building a bard system for Morrowind, and there will be a few new lines added, is there any way I could get some of the voice actors to do some voices for it. The races in it are Breton, Dunmer, Orc and Argonian. I'm going to do a fill in with my own voice for now since without voices the Bard's scenes don't work right. It just skips over the lines. Apparently scenes need a voice in a folder in order to say the lines in the scene.
Will be adding new songs, more Morrowind sounding, and would also like a few sung ballads. WIP.
Not sure how many singers we

At this point I'm just doing instrumentals, so I really just need someone to say a few lines in order to say what they are playing.
"Song from my homeland"
"Taught to me by"
That sort of thing.
I'm still working out the bugs of getting everyone to play a song first. So far so good. Then I have to shift the quest over to the new Bard quest instead of the Skyrim one.

Excellent, I have a few people interested in the project, check out the Bard thread.

Once I have the AI infrastructure down, that will be the next step. In the meantime, I'm open to hearing what songs people want. Ideas, or even someone writing one, I donno, being that Bard were not actually doing much in the line of performing in the original Morrowind it's pretty much wide open. I think I almost have all the bards hooked in, must do some character debugging, starting to build scenes.
Will want different voices for different race/sex types, like how Skyrim is now, though a bit more open ended. The Bards of Skyrim have quirks to work around.

Hey all, I have a friend who wanted to do some Dark Elf voices. We chose Brara Morvayn as the character she wanted to do. Her audition is here : https://soundcloud.com/cj-graham/brara-morvayn-audition
Obviously if there are any critiques, let me know and we will try to adjust. We're both a little new to the whole thing.

Well you can tell your friend that that is a spot-on awesome voice with great delivery and that we'd love her to do as many characters as humanly possible because she sounds so awesome yet again.

probably one of the best
probably one of the best female dunmer I've heard so far!
Hey, I just discovered you
Hey, I just discovered you guys, and I love the idea. I loved Morrowind more than any other game.
I went ahead and followed the tutorial and did the voice work for Codus Callonus. But I'm not sure where to send the files.
I couldn't get the construction programs to work on my computer, (probably because I don't have Oblivion or Skyrim on my PC) but I have the work done in wav and mp3.
I'll just attach them at the bottom of this post. Let me know if I should do something else.

Trust me you didn't suck,
I think I'll try Carnius
I think I'll try Carnius Magius next. It's a lot more ambitious, and I'll definitely play it more gruff. But my wife likes listening to me do accents, so she wants me to do more.
Who am I to deny her?
@snettle Its good but I would
@snettle Its good but I would suggest trying to remove the pops and breaths into the mic.
Okay, I'll try a little
Okay, I'll try a little harder to clean it up. I've attached my attempt at a Khajit voice. It's the mp3 for J'Dhannar. I don't know if they are already taken, but if any remain, I'd be happy to try those as well.
Also is my wife as Ronerelie Philulanie, who only has one line. Her voice is really soft, so I'm not sure you'll want to use it. Just let me know.
I'm just going to get started on Carnius Magius. I'll do my best.

@ speedsterpaladine Oh wow!
@ speedsterpaladine
Oh wow! I've been browsing the examples people have put up, and this is definitely one of the best I've heard. We need to get her on board ASAP, it sounds just like a dark elf. Very impressive!
I'm glad her voice makes
I'm glad her voice makes everyone so happy. We will definitely take care of getting that guard voice set done. Which guard though, Stij? I'm not clear as to the exact role we are taking on. Point me in the right direction, and we will get it done.
Also, I decided to try my voice out. It's not even hardly as good as hers, but it might be useful? Who knows. Here it be.
Imperial voice, Cunius Pelelius. https://soundcloud.com/cj-graham/cunius-audition
Orc voice (with detuner on voice, cant go that low) https://soundcloud.com/cj-graham/orc-voice
Khajit voice (J'Zhirr) https://soundcloud.com/cj-graham/khajit-voice
@speedsterpaladine: hi, i`ll
hi, i`ll start with the samples you did with your own voice, the khajiit accent is fine, but could you twist your own voice into something more like this?
http://www.mediafire.com/listen/thqzx8jdzxb7gf4/Hlo_KM082.mp3
doesnt have to sound exactly the same, just experiment with what kind of voice/tonal characteristics you can achieve :)
Same goes for orc voices, you need to sound more menacing and believable, here is an example:
http://www.mediafire.com/listen/2r1t9u9sukp4k20/Hlo_OM038.mp3
Next is imperial characters, and they should have an english accent, if you can pull that of, then great :)
About your gf/wife, she can go ahead and record whatever free female dunmer npc she want :) and sounds like she can record some imperial female npc`s also :)
The imperials don't
The imperials don't necessarily have to have english accents, I've done a few with that and a few with an more american-like voice for the sake of variation.
Also woop, woop. Serjo Avon Oran done, first character in more than a month.
yea what eloth said, and also
yea what eloth said, and also what cor said lol, aanndd also if she is in and wants to do some dunmer voices please pick some out of the main quest first
I think I'll give a couple of
I think I'll give a couple of the shorter character's a shot. I always love trying out different accents and this is the perfect opportunity to try. I'll be posting .wav files if that will help as I don't have the creation kit or the patience to learn it. Hopefully what I can do will help.

Also I've noticed that there are a few other files in his sheet that repeat:

The other ones all end in numbers so I can just change the increment. But this one ends in a letter. Should I just go up a letter or is a number added? Just asking so I don't screw it up
Yes thats correct. and next,

and next, 0F is a hex number, next number after 0F is 10.
you got a great voice for nords/orcs also, so please do some of them also :)
Thank you I'll do some of
Thank you :) I'll do some of them next.
Here's my Lucan Ostorius. I gave him a bit of a cockney accent, it seemed to fit his character. Being a lower class Imperial Thief/Smuggler.
edit: I had realized I had labeled 3 files wrong. I corrected them and the correct version of the rar is posted now

So, I've been working on
So, I've been working on Falco Galenus and found that not all the lines have a filename attached. In fact, most of them don't.
I realize he's a character from the Solstheim expansion, so he's not a priority right now. Should I work on one of the tertiary main quest characters until we catch up to Solstheim?
I suppose picking a character with four hundred lines for my second attempt may have been ambitious, but I like to go with the gusto.
If there is an Imperial that you need done first, please let me know. I would like to help this move along smoothly.
@ snettles I would go with an
I also do an Irish and
I also do an Irish and Scottish accent, (though they may be a bit over the top) but I'm not sure they are appropriate to Morrowind.
Have we decided what accent a Breton will have? I'm not sure I hear much of a difference between them and the Imperials when I play Skyrim. They just seem to have variations of the English accent.
I don't think my cockney accent would be intelligable enough for use in a game.
Anyway, just trying to be useful.

Hi guys, I've been following
Hi guys,
I've been following this project for a couple of weeks now and I'm really interested in helping out on the voice acting side of things. The problem is that I'm not near my microphone right now (I'm on vacation) so I can't try out specific voices. However, you can get a sample of my voice here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxfZsAc1qVg
You can check out my other videos for more examples if you'd like as well.
Just based on what I've seen, I was thinking my voice was perhaps more suited for Bretons or Imperials, but I wanted to ask just to be sure.
So, what race do you think I should try out based on that?
Thanks.
