Hey stij, those actually arent that bad, need to work on delivering some emotion in the lines though, why dont you try a small role like Ashu-Ahhe and see if you can deliver some anger in the lines then me and eloth and maybe another dunmer voice like cor will see if they work out!

Hello there! Our lovely
Hello there! Our lovely mutual friend, Krystal, told me all about this dealio! She was all "Vail. Have you heard about Skywind?" and I was all "Oh? Is that like Morroblivion?" and she was all ">:| Yes" and I was all "<:D TELL ME ALL THE THINGS!"
And here I am.
!
So I've been reading a bit around here and been talking with other friends and a bunch of us were thinking of pooling our resources and doing some voices for you! Also, are you still in need of people to make npc faces? And also, in regards to that, how would one go about makin them npc faces?
Thanks!

vailismynameNpc faces for Skywind are done, but will need to be done for skyblivion! (You use the creation kit for skyrim) As for the voices get as many people's as you can find and send me samples of everyone! There are lots of female roles so the more samples I get the more voices that work the more people can get assigned to do work! Also how many is a bunch cuz Krystal just might be my favorite person in the world right now!Hello there! Our lovely mutual friend, Krystal, told me all about this dealio! She was all "Vail. Well, there's myself, my boyfriend, another really close friend of mine and her husband, and she says she knows a person or two who may be interested. We are planning on getting together this weekend to see what we can cook up. I was tinkering all night with my boyfriend's mic and my laptop and seeing what I can do. I'm having a really hard time deciding what I can or cannot do voice wise, but I'm sure something will work....
vailismyname: that would be

Ok wonderful! I will pass the message along! Depending on everyone's schedules, I may see the one friend tonight between my shifts. See if maybe we can whip up some race samples. Admittedly, I haven't the slightest as to how to make my voice raspy enough for an Argonian...
The easiest way to explain

Hello again!
I hate to be a pest, but I'm wondering! I'm at my friends place right now and we've been fiddling with Audacity and our mic, and after jimmyrigging both a circular makeshift wire hanger-covered-in-lady-nylons to speak into and a blanket backing behind us, we are still having a hard time cutting down on those sharp S's and we are also having a hard time with finding a happy medium with noise reduction on Audacity while simultaneously trying not to make it sound like were are in a hallway. We are wondering if you would have any more recommendations!

For the harsh "s" sounds, you can use a Deesser, which, as the name implies, de-esses :P that will allow you to get closer to the mic. There are also noise reduction vsts and such that you can use. Below is a site to get some free vst plugins to try.
Let me know if you need any more info there.
I also just noticed that
I also just noticed that Audacity has some of that already built in under the "Effect" tab. You can try those and see what success you can find.

vailismynameTry another layer of nylon and move the pop filter away from the mic a bit, if that still doesn't work move the mic to the side slightly so you are not speaking directly into it, the blanky is mostly just for echo, in audacity copy the track so you have 2, only do the noise removal on one, and lower the volume of the other all the way, now just slowly raise the volume of the original track until it Sounds more natural and less boxed in from the noise removal, if the background noise is too severe I have a studio mic and professional pop filter we could tryHello again!

I think that may be in part something to do with mediafire and the rendering. Hmmm I wonder now if I emailed you the files as is if that would sound any better... Hmm
I also did some tinkering to see if I could get the file a bit quieter as to not blow ones eardrums out, which is where the volume was initially... Maybe that's where some of the blegh came in....
Very possible, and worth a
I was wondering today whether
I was wondering today whether it would be possible to use a program that generates voices, like monotone robotic voices, as a filler to help fill in the gaps on voices. That way we can get past the speedy subtitles without just having it default to an empty sound file or anything. I also have no idea how much work would be involved in doing this either, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
Dropping a dll in Skyrim
Dropping a dll in Skyrim folder (Fus Roh Doh SKSE plugin) is way easier than generating robotic voices for everything imho :)
That's cool then. I wasn't
That's cool then. I wasn't sure whether or not it would be a reasonably doable thing as far as time and effort.
Ya looked into that already,

Hello! I saw about the Skywind project recently and I think it's great!
I realise this isn't the typical Dunmer voice for Morrowind, but considering his lines and status, something somewhat posh just felt... right.

If you want to hear the rest of the lines, I attached the MP3's. I have the wav's and Audacity project file, too, but it put the file size over there limit. I'm looking forward to trying some different characters. :)

So this is still being worked
So this is still being worked on then, right? I've worked on several big Skyrim mods like "Falskaar" and "Helgen Reborn" and was a huge Morrowind fan.

Nord: http://youtu.be/_YTGTD5wPS0
Imperial (Neutral Accent): http://youtu.be/_O2S49ciR_g

I can do shrines/Gods too if needed.
