Here is a reupload trying to get more in character i feel like this is better than my previous attempts, please keep in mind im doing an imperal guard for the king so he has a very clear tone and very militaryish no not alot of "acting" goes into that part except when he find out you killed his guard or the DB quests feedback good or bad is welcome! thanks!

Haha i hate to do this to you, the acting is good now, but now that ive listened to it from my pc the quality is not, its very quiet there is a bit of an echo and a lot of pop

 

No this is good i dont want to produce poor quality, so dont noise cancel and cover the mic better got it! I  will do this whole charater after a few more samples.

HAHAH a french breton again! get inspiration from anywhere? :P .. anyway.. i think the acting is good.. but the recording could be better. Let me see if i could fix it. If you could, record a small section of your favourite character, then record dead silence... i need both files. i can then see what your microphone could potentially sound like.

Need to have a little more rasp, it needs to come from the throat, its kinda hard to explain but you're almost there!

I should of kept the coughing afterward XD I think I'll try and go with the general voice, and then slowly add raspiness. I've been a little sick lately, so my throat has already been sore. I'll wait until this cough is gone and re try some dunmer.

Here's a crack at another character, an imperial by the name of Cantunian Ponius.

Thanks for having a listen, I didn't spend long tweaking the recording settings so hopefully I can improve it. I used REAPER along with it's built in noise removal tool FYI. 

As for Dunmer, not sure I can pull off that kind of voice but I might give it a try at some point. Thanks.

I'm a 21-year-old male, but I would describe my voice as somewhat meek and boyish, therefore I probably wouldn't be a good candidate for a big tough orc. Maybe a mild-mannered wizard or something to that effect?

These are unvoiced Wood Elves, which a meek voice is usually pretty good for!

If you think my voice could be used for other characters, I'd be willing to give it a shot as well. Pretty new at voice acting, but as a comedian, I do a lot of imitations etc. So I have some voice flexibility.

Ok Just so everyone knows I'll be recording Marsus Tullius, Boss Crito, Fandus Puruseius, and Iulus Truptor

Tip for everyone: If you, like me, had to click through the entire NPC list to find your character. Open the 44 mb .xls file in Open Office (free software). This will allow you to click the list, then simply type in the name and it should take you right to it. It didn't work for me in Excel and only realised that it was the culprit when comparing to Langotriel's results!

The one line wonder that is Boss Crito is complete.

Hey he is a bad guy in the main quest. I'm in the MQ for one line! *Maniacal Laughter Ensues*
