Let me know what you think:
First of all, the sound quality isn't quite there yet. It might be that you can't achieve good audio quality with your microphone (in which case, you are not suitable for any role) but if it is possible, do the best you can in following my tutorial :
Second.. I don't know in what context your line is from but you make him sound sad and unenthusiastic. That does not seem like the character from looking him up and checking the scripts.#
Try again and this time; read different lines, portray him as a Nord gentleman (he seems to be an important person in his field) and fix the audio as much as you can. Then we will see whether you are fit for him or not.
Also, record a few more lines.. we need to see if you can keep the character consistent.

Ah, did not see since I'm so new. Though it's not a competition in my mind. I saw it wasn't filled yet so I figured I'd at least try doing something with a voice that doesn't utilize the entirety of my throat lol. Go for it.

So, I don't know if I'm right or not, but I pronounced his name none-see-us instead of noon-key-us. I'm voicing a character who mentions that one. Of course, maybe I'm wrong about that.

Sure thing. I'll redo my lines if the mod devs think it should be pronounced differently. I feel like the main thing is to be consistent. Well, either that or explain inconsistencies as the result of cultural ignorance ;)

Alright, did some lines for one of the few Bosmer left, Galthragoth.
Also did another sample for a possible Dulk - not as gutteral as some of my other attempts. There's lots of different ways to handle this voice. The lines as written are tough, though. They don't really sound like what the Chieftain in Skyrim would say.
I wish I knew the context for some of the lines. "You have my contribution." Is this a response to you asking for a contribution in the first place, or after you've already recieved it?
"It's a worthy cause. Sorry, but this is all I can afford." Same here. Are you receiving money, or have you already recieved it and you're asking for more after he's already given you what he could?

Very nicely done! I've not heard "Redoran" said aloud in any of the games, but this does sound different than I had thought in my mind - not that the way you said it is wrong by any means.
Is there a standardization of pronunciation for words like this, that anyone knows of? Places and houses, mostly. People's names might be asking too much. (But knowing Gnisis is "knee-sis" and not "Nigh-sis" could be important as it would be referenced by several characters.)

Awesome, more female voice actors! Ladies, remember, I've been recording a BUNCH of stuff just because they didn't have as many female voices to fill in all these parts when I first got here. So if you see my name next to any of the NPC's you want to read for, read for 'em anyway! The leads will replace anything I've already done with the better voice types as they get them. Let's knock these parts out! :D

The rasp is there, I'd try lowering the pitch in audacity to make it sound slightly more menacing.

Hi Team Due to the large
Hi Team
Due to the large number of auditions that we have received in the past week, all final recordings (not samples) for characters must be sent to myself in a .zip file containing the following folder structure:
Race > Character's name
e.g. Dunmer > John Doe
Final recordings must be approved by a voice lead for audio quality control.
We really appreciate everyone's submissions! Keep up the great work :)
Note: Storage can be provided if people are having problems sending me final recordings. Just send me an email and ill send you back a link ;)
So does that mean we won't
So does that mean we won't get confirmation if we have been assigned that character until after we've recorded all their dialogue and submitted it? ... is there any way we could call dibs on a character so that we don't run into the possibility of multiple people recording the same character? Or is that something you guys actually want, to choose from?

Nah auditions and samples are still done the same. Put up a sample, get feedback on quality ect, then it get assigned. Then record all the lines and send it through (at this stage it will be marked as complete on the first page). Hope this clarification makes more sense :P

Ah ok, that does make more sense :) Should we wait to see if we've been assigned the character on the first page's list from our audition post before we go ahead and record all the lines?

Yeah its because we want to discourage people having to re-record all their lines... We apologise for delays atm be we are getting so many new voice actors to listen too. this is a really good thing, but requires extra tracking etc.
Ill be going through a lot of people that got missed in a few hours. (including yourself :) )

Wow, those are all pretty good! The imperials are especially nice. For the orc you might want to try pitch correction, to lower your voice a bit - worked wonders for me.
I'm your comeptition for Galthragoth, heh. Wanted to try my hand at at least one Bosmer. Your Bosmer is quite good, though. You'd have my vote for any lines that are left.

It sounds very imperial, try and add a type of rogue-ness to it. Red Guards are difficult to do I've found.
To me, at least, the second voice and the second to last voice are the best I can do at Red Guard.
Yeah agree second last is really awesome, you can apply for some Reguard roles with this voice.
