the dunmer is not quite right, try listed to some other samples to get the right voice

That was a raw file of a redone line for the guy who's helping me clean up the audio and dull the 's'es.  What part of the voice do you think could be improved?  Another example of a Dunmer I've done is Shabinbael.

Okay; On the first page of this thread, it appears that all the roles have essentially been taken/assigned. Yet, I am still seeing near the end of this thread that people are still taking parts and auditioning.

 

May I ask where I can see what roles are still available for audition?

If you scroll down on the first page, there should be a possible to see someething like "Male Dunmer" "Female Dunmer" and you can press an arrow to get a list of characters. :)

While trying to record i found different ways to speak, and i think i can do better, and i should have a filter lying somewhere, so some of the noises should be gone.

Not expecting something good, but why not. P:

Your accent is a little strong in this sample for a breton, try out some other races

Uploading audition for the Redguard Karrod.  So far, very similar to my Imperial voice.  Any feedback or suggestions are appreciated.

It sounds very imperial, try and add a type of rogue-ness to it. Red Guards are difficult to do I've found.

To me, at least, the second voice and the second to last voice are the best I can do at Red Guard.

Yeah agree second last is really awesome, you can apply for some Reguard roles with this voice.

Okay, I hit a couple single liners so that they'd be easier to knock out faster, let me know if you like these ones. If you think they'd be good for someone with more lines, I can do Kaye as well, who has a good chunk of lines.

Heh, I suppose it helps to actually be from the South - for once.  All these Scandinavian Nords have had me jealous all week.  They all sound so cool.

I know how you feel, my Nord doesn't sound so great either.

Heya, because they are relatively so few I've just done all the lines for Big Head (and the one for Chuna) as a quick audition for Argonians. I'm aware the S's are sharper than average on Big Head's but that is due to me attempting a guttural slithering s sound with my mouth; if it's too distracting or the accent isn't right or...ya' know, anything else, let me know what to change up. I will be putting in more auditions soon for you guys including much needed Dunmer.

(Big head is more Oblivion-era Argonians, Chuna is  more Skyrimy - not sure if you guys have a set accent or not).

I think these recordings would be awesome if you just lowered the pitch down a bit.  Just make them a bit deeper and your voice will pour like honey over gold.

A bosmer voice in morrowind is a little more.. nasaly. so, slightly higher pitch with a hint of kermit the frog :P

Excellent audio quality! Some of the best on here! It could still use a little editing to suit the setting but i thought this was pretty good overall! I can't comment too much on the voice itself other than i thought it was awesome! If it is right or not, that is up to stijmunkey/ gigaflare. I am not even sure if the position is open.. But good luck!

If all else fails, if you use that sweet swedish accent of yours a little more, you would make a great nord!

I agree about the audio quality, but the accent doesn't fit the character of Dagoth Ur.  In the game, Dagoth Ur sounded like a cardio trainer who was ready to get you soooo pumped, Nerevar!  But since Dagoth Ur is from the time before the change of the Chimer to the Dunmer, he would probably have a deep, rich voice not unlike the Altmeri.

That being said, you would make for an amazing Nord!

Test line for Odral Helvi, pitched up the voice a little because of the way I do the dunmer voice, it's really deep as I show in the second sample. If you think the deeper voice would be suitable for another Dunmer please let me know.

The first one sounds synthetic due to the pitch shift without the time being shortened. You may try to speak slower and have the speed adjusted appropriately. The second one sounds better at this point IMO...

Hey everyone. I'm entering the fray with a few short samples...Clearly I need better equipment, which I will be purchasing ASAP.

I would be comfortable with doing any voice/accent and would love to do any of the more "monstrous" lines like the Dremora, if there is still any room for contribution there! My voice is naturally pretty low and I can get very low and grumbly. My favorite voices to do are more cartoony/outlandish ones such as the Dota 2 heroes. I'm interested in linguistics and foreign languages/accents, but I have 0 formal acting experience under my belt. 

Here are my tests so far. Though the Altmer lines are taken, I would like to upload an Altmer test later, too.

I have wanted to be a VA for years and this is a dream of mine, I hope you guys like it! Obviously the sound quality is CRAP, but I'm just trying to showcase my voice/performance at this point, so consider all recordings preliminary.

I've already done the lines for Jeleen, but you have a good voice for Redguards.  You definitely want to get a better mic set up, with at least a make-shift pop filter, and try to reduce the noise following Langotrien's tutorials.
