That's alright. Mind if I voice the following Redguard NPCs?: Ian, Wayn, Hinald, Ilden Mirel, Nachael, and Rissinia?

Here's my recordings for Maurrie Aurmine, named correctly, though without .lip files, for some reason I couldn't get CS to work. I'm sorry for that.

I'd also like more Breton characters, including Edwinna Elbert and Helviane Desele. If that's not a problem, I'll send recordings for those in few days.

For the one line you can either do one that ends at you. or throw in the nwah, just make a note of it so we can make sure the line is correct in the ck, as for lines with no names simply name them the first few words from the line please!

I'll add "N'wah" muttered under my breath, so if you you add it great but if you don't no biggie! :)

Nord Reference for Thrillhouse (or anyone else). The quality is bad because people are hoovering and i am mining cryptocoins with my computer so 2 graphic cards are chugging away!

It definately isn't perfect, but you will get the idea. How a Nord should be according to a Nord.

On a final note, Zam, that argonian was brilliant, im happy to give you any argonial you would like, and the voicetype if your up for it!

That would be super great - I'd be happy to do the voicetype as well as other characters (I'll send in more auditions soon for the other Argonians + Dunmer and perhaps some Orcs). So I know, what sort of accent/voice type should I be using as a reference, more Oblivion-Era Argonians or Skyrim-Era ones? Both are equally easy for me to do so it's up to you guys which one would go the best (personally I like my Argonians to sound like foreignish lizard people, but that's just me ;) )

Heya, because they are relatively so few I've just done all the lines for Big Head (and the one for Chuna) as a quick audition for Argonians. I'm aware the S's are sharper than average on Big Head's but that is due to me attempting a guttural slithering s sound with my mouth; if it's too distracting or the accent isn't right or...ya' know, anything else, let me know what to change up. I will be putting in more auditions soon for you guys including much needed Dunmer.

(Big head is more Oblivion-era Argonians, Chuna is  more Skyrimy - not sure if you guys have a set accent or not).

Ugh...perfect. I have something to aspire to haha. Great work!!!

Just getting these cleaned up, but I wanted to try out my new mic (got a Samson Meteor). These are raw, since my mate has protools and is better at these sorts of things, so I've sent him some FLACs.

If any of these are up to scratch, I'd be happy to take them on.

Hi!

Here are some samples of my voice acting as Nibani Maesa and other Dunmer women.

If anyone of the people who run the project thinks the samples are good enough, please let me know and advise what to do next.

I've noticed most just pick a character's lines and post them first - should I go ahead with that?  I also listened to Zammuel's amazing Big Head, and found I can do his voice, if you need more Argonians (can't do female Argonians, sorry to say).

Working on recording Banor Seran. Some Issues:

"fbmwICDinner_1donateSCyrodilicSbrandy_00f8aa1e_1" seems to be incomplete. "Against my will, I'm impressed by your lack of courtesy and good sense. Here. This is a bottle of Cyrodilic brandy. A small price to be rid of you. N" is all there is. Not sure if there is more dialogue or if it's an extraneous "N" Also, there are a number of line which do not have filenames.   Please advise, codemaster gurus!

I had a sample for Strillian Macro and I did a few red guards already, auditioned for Kaye in male red guard as well. Here they are so you don't have to re look, and Sterdecan is a redguard, figured I could use his voice for Kaye's as well.

After taking the advice given, I have tried to fix the audio quality. Before I record multiple lines, could you tell me if its good enough recording quality?

Thanks!

This is my sample of Eleedal-Lei, the Argonian rebellling against Therana. I have another file that has the his lines separated. Enjoy. Please give feedback.  I will be putting up more samples for different characters in the near future.

There is a strange echo effect in this recording, can you try remove it?

I will see what I can do. I'm using Audacity any suggestions on how to remove it? Besides the echo what did you think about the voice in general?

Hi everyone - my name's Devin Polaski, and I'm a professional video producer, music composer, and sound designer.

I've been composing music for Skywind for a couple weeks now, but I've also been loosely following the voice acting and sound design communities, and would love to lend my services to those areas as well if needed.

I know there's been a considerable amount of work done so far, and it's difficult knowing where to start. As such, I created a "voice acting sample" clip, where I perform 3 different characters. I also set it to the music I composed and layered in a little sound; just to give it some extra oomph. The characters I voice are Geon Auline (the Breton noble), J'Zhirr (the Khajiit agent) and Vivec (the god).

While it's difficult to perform any Elder Scrolls role due to it usually requiring someone much older than most of us working on this project, I at least can offer professional micing and sound software equipment to lend to the production values.

Anyways, it's nice to meet you all, and I'm super impressed with the sheer breadth and talent on display here (not to mention the rest of the Skywind project). Take a listen, and let me know where/how I might be best used in this ongoing process:

Good for younger nords, but you need a quiter place to record there is background noise when your talking

All right, want me to voice whoever the remaining guy is? Kaye is assigned so I can do whoever else is left, and you want me to use the voice from the Strillian Macro sample?

That was supposed to quote you stmonkey, not sure why it didn't haha.

to those who get background noise it can sometimes help to fold a towel or alike on the sides of the mic so it only catches sound from the front.

Crulius Pontanian
Gratian Caerellius
Oritius Maro
Sirollus Saccus

I'll record samples :^)

I think it would be a good start for a khajiit and there are many khajiit free, that would be my advice.

Apologies for the delay; didn't have my PC for the last week D:

I tweaked the microphone settings for a while and here's hoping that I've finally gotten rid of any excess noise.

Here they are: https://soundcloud.com/veggie55/sets/skywind-voice-tests-2-0/s-b4Np0

I redid the same lines as before, since I really don't know what characters are available to do :p (Also because I completely forget what a Breton sounds like...)

If you're happy with the quality, I'm more than happy to tryout for any character that hasn't got a voice yet (:

Quality is really good, and your orc is amazing! Argonian could be more throaty and hisssing ;) Imperial is really good too, though I feel most Imperials would have a slightly more english sounding to their accent. And Bretons had this sort of singing changes in the pitch of their voice sounding almost like an old Welshman :P

Cheers, mate!

And thanks for the advice, I can always try again (:

Can I ask if the sound quality for this is okay? I have recorded half of Therana's lines but am now fretting that the quality might not be up to scratch.
