Greetings to all, Just heard of this project yesterday and didn't think much of it. Till I saw a video and... I have been blown away. I'd like to help with some voice acting I can do a lot of voices and accents which I think may be very useful. If the procedure to participate has changed please instruct me for further on how I can audition. Thank you!

Hey guys, fantastic work on the project! Thought Id try and lend a hand seen as I am Scottish and therefore might have a somewhat unique voice to contribute. I used Botrir the Nord's lines as a reference. Im not sure if my accent is suited to any character in particular but if you think it would work well with a character I am more than willing to do more with greater recording equipment (friend does sound production) Thanks!

Hey Veggie55 you can check the first page of this thread for unassigned roles, simply scroll to the section where it lists the races and expand the section to see the full list. Then post an audition in this thread and we can ok it (most of the time we can 'ok' you for an entire race).

Just getting these cleaned up, but I wanted to try out my new mic (got a Samson Meteor). These are raw, since my mate has protools and is better at these sorts of things, so I've sent him some FLACs.

If any of these are up to scratch, I'd be happy to take them on.

Sorry guys, I hate to be a bother, but it would be fantastic if I could get a response from Stij, gigaflare or Langotriel on how to improve these attempts.

As long as you keep rolling those Rs ... and you go with a more monotone accent/voice.. i think you could do Nord just fine. Sound quality was decent and passes the test for the first round. If you refer to my example on post 2262 (page 46 i think) then that is kinda what i would like from nords. You do not have to copy it directly of course.

You could have also done Bosmer.. but they seem to be done now. oh well.

Good luck with nord and keep pestering Stijmunkey and gigaflare! to reply too.. if you see them online, message them in chat!.. Maybe they like some of your other voices more.

Langotriel, Are you able to assign voices, or should I wait to get approval from Stij?

​At this stage, I'd really like to get some good recordings started with Aesliip in particular, and if there are any other Nords that need assigning, that would be fine by me.

Here's my attempt. First off let me start by saying Im much more interested in playing who you guys need as opposed to someone I 'want' to play. the truth is im just  excited to be apart of this mod that I would be more then happy to record lines for whomever you guys think I should be based on my voice. But for the sake of practice I chose Ingokning Lines 243,244,245,246 and 247

I also tried a few different speech patterns.

I like this voice for a Breton actually, the role you test record for is a female nord so that isn't going to work ;)

Hey jaymkultra, i'll take a look to see if there is a character that better suits your voice. In the meantime you could try some techniques to mask the accent slightly?

Hello all! This is a project I've been eyeing for a while and I'd really like to get involved.

(Sormer lines were recorded with my band's condenser, all others were done with my home condenser.)

I was looking over the list in the spreadsheet but I still found it hard to see which characters were not voiced yet, as some of them have recently been claimed.

Let me know if I would be suitable, I have access to my band's condenser mic which is much better than what I use at home.

Hey t0nkatsu, you can check the unassigned ones on the first page of this thread. If you are just auditioning you can just record any character. Then once you have the audio quality check we can assign you one

I should have a large VA release ready by end of Feb.

Thanks gigaflare, I could certainly take as much of the Scottish out of it as possible but there will almost definitely still be a hint unfortunately :p if you do find a character or if you just need a simple "Greetings, Traveler" I would be more than willing to help.

He might not be assigned... but Ratwolf is trying to get Frald.. he has been perfecting his voice for a while. You are welcome to try of course.. but your voice sounds more like a regular american.. not exactly what we have in mind for a Nord.

Post 2262 (a couple pages back) is more along the lines of what i would personally want from a nord.. Being a Nord IRL myself, I can say that it is pretty accurate to what a nord would sound like.

Yeah sorry the latest VA package is still with me, so there is a little big of lag time between 'completed' and them being downloadable. I'm trying to get a massive chunk done by end of Feb.

hey guys I have run into a bit of a problem, I am currently working on making the voice higher quality but the main problem is the echo. My room is small but I do not have anywhere to hang a blanket and I cannot get too cornered or the audio sounds weird. Any suggestions?

I intended to do all of Neminda this weekend but got bogged down with noisy neighbors and guests (annoying), so I only managed time to do the first 50 of her lines which I've attached below.  I will try to do the rest of her lines during the week.

Best thing to do is get a sheet, get some items that are high standing (gallon of water would work) set the blanket on them so they can firm a high surface, and there you go, quick and easy noise reducer.

I also didn't realize the lines for Jeanne the Redguard were so short so I've gone ahead and voiced those.

I have been mulling over your post for a while Langotriel, thank you for the advice! I've done some work on my audition for Strillian Macro, and hopefully this will do better.

I'm noticing we need a lot of Dunmer voices, and very few are accomplished, so I gave it my shot at Odral Helvi. I'm not sure I have th hang of the Dunmer accent, but better than nothing.

Okay, so I'm at least gonna take Ahnassi and Severia Gratius and Blatta Hateria for now, if that's okay and they're not otherwise claimed.  I'll look over the list and see what other ones are available to do as well.  Thanks!

Not bad!  It's always good to have more people who can do a decent Dunmer voice.  Now if only we could find a few women who can pull off the females...

Did some recording this past weekend but unfortunately you can tell I'm congested. The woes of living in Michigan I suppose. I'll try to edit some stuff when I'm back at my home PC but I'm thinking I may need to re-record the majority of what I did :/
