Hello, this is the voice actor for Gaenor. I am still going to submit his voice acting lines; there has been a problem with equipment recently, but they shall be resolved shortly. Sorry for the late post!

Another attempt down. I think I've managed to removes the remaining echo with event more pillows and blankets. If there is still a problem with the sound I could use a few pointers. I've also tried to make it sound less Brooklyn-ee and deepened it a bit. I think it's at a point where i could imagine hearing it from an imperial but it's not my opinion that counts haha. If it's not what your after perhaps you could provide a bit of direction of where i should push it?

I've gone ahead and separated them into the proper files with the required name (pretty much just to get the hang of it.

Hey guys, I'm super excited about recording some lines for this but I'm a little confused as to how it all works. Is that excel sheet on the second post still up to date? All those ones need to be recorded?

EDIT: Ok so the Excel sheet isn't up to date? Looking at that first post it seems like most the characters are already recorded? It would be sweet to have someone explain this to me like I'm a 5 year old.

I see that all the Bosmer are either already recorded or assigned to people. I would very much like to try some Bosmer, though, so should I just record some lines from characters who are assigned to people and see if ya'll like them?

I think I have the perfect voice for Bosmer, so I'm also interested in maybe doing some of the misc. voice sounds, like grunts, yells, etc. Should I just record some and post them here?

stijmunkeyok I have given people some time, I will be updating the op freeing up some roles from the people who have not replied back, and updating some roles for the people who have, also just so I can hold myself accountable and don't get distracted tonight I will be listening to some samples and doing a mass reply tonight

You have your work cut out for you. Go back to several pages ago as there still is people from quite far back waiting. A technician came to my house and could not fix the problem.. great. It is likely to be package loss. Our connection is stable but somewhere along the line, the information gets lost. Probably due to a broken or dirty cable.

I don't know how long this will take to be fixed.. so good luck. :)

Since some of the names have been cleared up a bit, I'd like to put myself down for Master Aryon.  I've already done the recording, just a matter of editing.

Also, I would be willing to next do the lines of Sul-Matuul.

She's got a good voice.  You will definitely want a better mic set up, something with a pop filter, or at least record without facing the mic directly.  I thought the accent was good for Nords, not for the Dunmer, though.  Have to hear from Langonfor the final word though.

Any comment on these voices?  Langotriel on the Nord?

Hi there! First of all I would like to thank you all for your work!

I am a big Morrowind fan and I found about this whole project through the ShoddyCast channel on YouTube. It turns out that I am more exited about this than I am by the upcoming TESO! I was looking for a way to be useful to you and that voice acting thing came up.

However, I am French (Although I live in California for some time now) and thus I have this unpleasant non-English accent. So, I was wondering if you guys were still interested in me trying for a sample or if you were already having enough voice actors to fill the whole list without needing more weird voices ^.^'

(Moreover, if you do want me to make a sample could you suggest me a character who may not suffer too much from my accent please?)

Orc-wise, I also see Garothmuk gro-Muzgub is opened, which is a nice long project I'd be happy to take on, since I'm pretty keen on the orcs.

I liked the first sample, second one could use a bit of work, as for the pronunciations, basically just say it how you think it would be said, everyone pronunciates thing differently in real life why should it be different here? Except maybe a few more main Characters names and such

OK, thanks. Having listened to a few more Dunmer samples I think I might be able to do it; I'll keep trying at that since there are so many gaps there! I'll get started recording Briring properly tomorrow.

If all goes well, I'll investigate some other Nords, too, perhaps with more adventurous accents.

This is my take on the Ordinators. I'm also planning on making this Salas Valors voice. The Ordinators are hardened and ruthless warriors who wouldn't mind spilling a heretics blood all over the floor. So I decided to go for a scary, intimidating and rather dark voice. Not all the lines are Original some I made up. The last line references the friendly rivalry between the Boyant Armigers and Ordinators. Okay, um, for some reason my posts here keep disappearing? No idea if this is a glitch or on purpose or whatnot.  Anyway.  The question I asked before that seems to have disappeared is, does anyone have any feedback for me on those characters/lines I posted last week? I want to move forward with the rest of the characters I've been assigned and finish up the ones I've started, but I'm unsure whether I'm on the right track or not.

I played around abit with the Nord accent. Could be better in some aspects. Was this sorta what you had in mind Smitehammer? I haven't done any noise reduction, this has only been normalised, because for some reason, it acts up in Audacity. Maybe I changed some of the settings by accident.

Langotriel has the last word on Nords, but I think that the Nord sounds good.  Just have to clean up the audio a bit, like you've already said.

What's with rolling the Ls? Recture? Sirver?  .. There are 3 things i want to say about your auditions

1 Good effort
2 Try to relax a little.. and just take time to practice the rolling of Rs so that it comes naturally.. it sounds like you are really trying to concentrate which is both good and bad.. good because at least you are trying but bad because it needs to sound like you aren't.
3 Don't roll Ls like Rs.. if you do, the clip can't be used.

You are almost there! Everything just needs to flow a little better.

I'm not sure about the orcs as they are currently.  Their voice should be gruffer, with more cavemanly pauses, and take into account the fact that they have giant tusks in the way.  Many of their 'esses' would sound more like 'sh', like Sean Connery.  When you're doing the lines, just imagine you're trying to talk with a sock tucked away in your bottom lip.  And don't be afraid to use pitch alteration, if it sounds good.  Don't go too crazy with it, of course.  Here's what I did for Duma, if you want to use it as a reference.

I think the Khajiit is quite good, but I would accentuate the name more.  Khajiit LOVE to say their own name - it's like drinking a fine vintage wine for them.  Hold the name out longer, the S at the front, the long 'e' sound, the rolling r at the end.  This is your favorite word, for it is what others know you by.

I realised I should check if Langotriel needs to sign off on the Nord. The 'R's are not very rolled, which seems to have been a common theme for other Nords! I can do the kind of accent that Langotriel demonstrated, although it sounds a bit Russian (Perhaps in a stereotypical way; I don't know if that's a problem...) or a Scottish accent in which some of the 'R's roll naturally.

Of course if more than one is acceptable then I can record other Nords with them, for more variety.

Rightio, I've given Big Head a shot. These are only two lines, and then I've included a sample with some voices. I would gladly try another character, if people has suggestions. This is my first shot at anything in the voice actor department, which means a couple of things might be off, but I'd love to help out with the project. :)

Haha, I completely missed this post. Thanks for the honesty and feedback, I'll stay away from Argonians! I posted a Nord some posts back, that I'm hoping Langotriel will take a look at, at some point. Might look into other roles, figure I should stick to one at a time :)
